Why am I seeing threads like these recently? (Picture attached)

For some reason, a few threads I've been trying to read just end up showing something like above. Why's this happening? Just curious.

I was hoping it wasn't just me. ATS broke down?

I remember seeing a thread for a minute yesterday afternoon that threatened to take the server down...not sure if this is the cause but no one has been able to do anything but read.

same here plus none of the threads i was talking in are updating ... they just stop after my last post on each ... ATS needs new batteries lol

if you try and post a reply it will take you to an error screen....its something to do with the servers as per the error screen message. seems to be working now though because im replying to this haha

I don't know. Sometimes forums HTML screws up and requires reprogramming.

ATS has a Board Question and Business Forum where about 8 threads were started to address this issue, which has been resolved. Check it out.

There may have been a lingering data corruption from the hardware failure a few days ago, and the database was not accepting new posts, but everything else -- such as a record for a new thread.

The issue is fixed, but there will be some residual minor issues as we locate and remove the new threads that have no posts, and reconcile the post-count of threads where people tried to reply, but no reply was recorded.

I'm not sure but I don't like it when I find an interesting thread I want to read and I get the big 404.

They said it was fixed, but there is a ton of 404ed threads that have been removed, but the title didn't get removed yet. The firehose page hasn't updated for a while now, that could be the reason.

There's one I wanted to read - survival wild food recipes - 404
