Creepy Photo From Another Forum I Frequent

Hi guys,

Basically saw this thread in another forum and thought you guys would be able to help analyse it and potentially debunk it....

Basically the premise is this:

'So a buddy of mine is rehabing this 1920's rowhouse in the city. Too keep his 3 y/o occupied he gave her his smartphone to take pic(Kids like to do that I guess) Anywho, later that day he was cleaning out what she had taken and he found this in one of the photo's.

This is 100% real, I swear on my MS. I'm looking for logical explanations to what could of happened here.
Try to be mature about it. We're all kinda wigged out.

I'm confused, is this a doll or are you saying that this is a ghost? To me, it just looks like a blurry pic of another child is all.

If the picture wasn't completely out of focus and blurred beyond recognition, then we might indeed be able to say something to the issue at hand.

Right now, all I see a blurry out of focus picture .. the rest is speculation and interpretation.

So there was an actual doll? What do it's eyes look like right now? Are they turned?
Creepy doll nonetheless.

I will try to be mature here....looks to me like a whole bunch of nothing...I mean really...is it a doll, another child, a terrible photo? What is it supposed to be? If the "doll has pupils...thats not unusual...dolls for a thousand years have had pupils..and the eyes moving...nothing new there either...my sisters had dolls that could do everything but fly...so if it's a doll...nothing to see here!

If its another child in the background...even less to see here...

If it is some sort of demon, ghost, whatever...then its really not all that different from a child...and needs to go back to wherever it came from and put some more "scary" on before it ventures out and about again.

Sorry OP, we can barely see the eyes of the doll, too much blur. maybe a better picture somewhere?

Sorry, but I'm confused - did she have the doll and took the picture, or did this appear in the photograph?

I don't know why or where I heard of this, but I read somewhere a long time ago that if a demonic spirit suddenly appears in your house you should immediately unplug everything electrical in your house - or hit the main trip switch. Should blink them right out. Somehow they feed on electrical energy. Strange that this photo made me think of this!

All that is, is horrible lighting and a little bit of over reacting.

Debunked.

It could be a possible double exposure if that's possible on a digital camera. I grew up during the days of 35mm cameras, had my own darkroom and know from experience you can get a double exposure on film. On film cameras if the film doesn't advance the next shot will give you another photo on top of the original.

The face behind the kid seems similar (The lips and nose). It could be a camera malfunction, but than again I'm not familiar on the mechanics of digital. Definitely a creepy photo if a double exposure isn't possible.

that thing behind the little girl, shares facial similarities like her lips.

i dont think it's a doll, just from looking....looks like some doppleganger(sp)

I don't think we are getting the real story. Looks as if her sister was standing behind her while she snapped the picture. If it WAS a spirit/demon/ghost whatever, thats creepy as s**t!!

That is a really creepy picture,was the doll face there or did it just show up in the picture?And yes I can see the left eye pupil looking at her,I'm sorry this will give me nightmares for the next week.....reminds me of doll island

The scarier pics are all those half naked dudes posing on that website. I got a GOOD laugh making up my own captions for them. I'm bored.

Hmm... it is really hard to tell what the "doll" is doing, especially in the background.
When I read the original post, I ask myself "What is a kid doing with a smartphone?" LOL I guess it could explain the angle of the image.
Anyways, this is an interesting picture.

My opinion...clearly a ps job.

It's pasted too cleanly behind her shoulder and I can see the outlines of the blur tool around the head of the "doll".

Come ON.

It's a double exposure.

The quality of threads on this site has plummeted.
