Ok people, man up, what movie scene made you cry like a baby LOL

I have to admit, in Armegeddon when Bruce Willis told Liv Tyler he was not coming home did it for me, I was a complete mess.

hehe... but I am serious. I mean... I never even got slightly "upset" by a movie scene. Sure I had positive feelings and maybe adrenaline rushes but never felt sad or anything...

Forrest Gump talking to Jenny right before she dies. He is describing everything he saw while on his little run and she says " I wish I could've been there with you" and Forrest looks down at her and says "but you were"...

come on now if that doesnt tug at the heart-strings then ya must be a shape-shifting alien reptile here to destroy our species.

peace

p.s. Frat that wasn't directed at you. Hadn't seen your post before I replied

The 2 that stick out to me most was Where The Red Fern Grows and Dances With Wolves, the part where they were slaying the buffalo for sport/ignorance and when they shot at the wolf. The juxtaposition of living in harmony with no waste versus seeing the plains scattered with wasted buffalo carcasses, man I was sad and full on disenchanted with humanity for a bit.
Jude called the classic Old Yellar too.

I was on a first date when I saw Backdraft...two moments did me in. Kurt Russel is dying in the ambulance, looks at his brother then at the EMTs and says, "that's my brother god dam it!" then when his wife is given the folded flag at the funeral and breaks down in tears, I did the same...never went out with that girl again...she didn't return my calls..

So no... I didnt cry in that scene

I first saw "Titanic" in the theater on New Years Eve and it was packed. The ship has been sinking for some time and the quartet was saying their goodbyes and what an honor it had been to play with each other. Three start to walk away, but the other, accepting his fate to go down with the ship, begins to play "Nearer My God to Thee", then the camera cuts to 3rd class where a mother tells her children a bedtime story as the water rises and they are trapped on the lower deck. Chin quivers and sniffles filled the entire theater. That was the weepiest one for me.

It's not a movie, but...

The Futurama episode with Fry's dog Seymore.

I didn't cry, but I came really close.

Dumbo - when his mother is locked away from him. One evening he goes to visit her in the trailer she is locked up in and they're so sad because they can't be together. I think she might have been sentenced to death (I believe she was reprieved) ?

I can't remember all the ins and outs because I only saw it once, when I was a kid. I've never been able to bear to watch it since.

I'm upset now thinking about it - I'll have to go and do something to cheer myself up
