This is a surprise to anyone? I'm sure that bin Laden (if he's still alive) calls for the destruction of the U.S., U.K., European Union in general, Israel, the Saudi royal family, the President of Pakistan, and anyone else he doesn't like on a daily basis..
bin laden does NOT call on the destruction on us or any other nation every day over a web site that is lagit. quit listing to what michale moore says about the government scaring us and so on.
That night, George Wallace double-crossed President Johnson. The governor went on statewide television demanding that Johnson send in federal troops to maintain law and order during King's march.
the president sent federal troops to Alabama. Reverend King's massive protest march began on Sunday, March 21. For five days, hundreds - and then thousands - of people walked from Selma to Montgomery. They were guarded all the way by Alabama State Troopers and federal soldiers.

The report says that he made his announcement on a website. It didn't state what website that was.

I am unclear as to how Bin Laden actually called for new attacks???
did someone get an email, phone call, letter, video, from him????
what's the evidence?
it's seems fishy this website announcement, I don't believe it has any credence.

no offence deeprivergal, i know you're just covering a story, but this is the problem i have with this type of news. No real evidence, something very unlikely, but yet it's out there to instill fear into people. Why is this being done if the sole reason isn't fear mongering or to draw support for the war on terror? This stuff shouldn't even be on the news.

You posted it in every forum. That is flat out annoying, so I'm going to comment on it.
I don't freak out about smoke and mirrors, honey. I'll leave that to the people who still think it's just Bin Laden.

Yes it does instill fear and it should. I don't think news stories should have people running through the streets screaming "THE SKY IS FALLING" However if you remember after 9/11 and the rumor got out about how Bush knew and he never said anything. Everyone was furious, the fact that if he knew, he could have warned people.
People complain that the government doesn't tell us anything, but then when they do, people complain. So it's a lose lose situation. I understand where you are coming from and I agree with you somewhat, however I, for one. Want to be educated and informed when something happens that could affect me or the my family. I would rather be able to be cautious and aware, then be in the dark.
I don't make the news. I just report what I find.
