7.8 Earthquake (South Pacific) today during alignment with Sun, ELEnin and Mercury

My mother forced me into Girl Scouts when I was young.. always hated it, but the camping and survival stuff was fun.

Iv been keeping a close eye on this thing since last Oct when I found out about it, and there are too many "conquincidence" that have occurred that make this very unsettling... I mean, I'm not positive what it is, nobody seems to be...
And it's not just this "comet". The world around us is changing at an ever increasing pace every month, even week!!
Keep an update on every natural disaster *90% are never mentioned in the MSM* and the earth is literally bursting at it's seams! With the floods, the volcano's, the EQ's, the crazy lighting storms thaT are killing people! Not to mention the collapse of the US dollar *OK, If you DON'T even believe in that, then I guess there's no hope for you* As soon as that happens, how will America transport food into all its cities major grocery stores?
The entire world will feel the ripple effect of America's complete collapse.

Something major is happening, and if you can't feel it in your gut, or see it with your eyes... then you will be left behind if/when SHTF.
Elenin or not, change is happening as we speak.

I would rather be prepared for something major to happen, and nothing actually happen, then live in complete denial and ignorance, and be stuck in the middle of a Sh***y situation with nothing....

Hey! First we never had an alignement with Elenin. elenin takes 13 000 years to do a full orbit. This is the first time Elenin comes in our solar system in 13 000 years. Can you imagine? Use the force... and believe the new born world will be a good place to be... Don't believe in a chaos unimaginable scenario.

It states why it would be difficult to detect a brown dwarf at the distance of the Oort Cloud (~25000AU). If there was a brown dwarf within the orbits of the outer planets, it would be visible to the naked eye! Contrary to popular opinion, brown dwarfs are not invisible. They reflect light very much like a gas giant planet, and the last time I checked, Jupiter and Saturn were two of the brightest objects in the night sky.

Actually, it's very likely to be the first time EVER that C/2010 X1 Elenin has approached the Sun from the Oort Cloud. The "13000 years" that you mention is roughly the orbital period of the comet after gravitational perturbations from Saturn (2.66AU in December 2008) and Jupiter (2.40AU in December 2012).

Elenin is a comet, it's not a brown dwarf, it's not a rogue planet. No-one cares how cold it is. The coldest Brown Dwarfs, if you picked one up and deposited it within the orbit of Mars, would be the BRIGHTEST OBJECT IN THE UNIVERSE (to our naked eye).

Lemonfresh, what you explained is exactly how I think as well. I honestly wish everyone had the same mind set as there would not be so much judgment on this site especially and in turn would not render as much negativity. When someone believes something so strongly and the evidence points to them as being correct, it is difficult when sharing with others who are so negative and quick to judge.

I too am not sure about "ELEnin". I am not naive and understand us to be moving into a part of the Solar System that is said to be filled with junk space (a lot of debris) and not only that they say we do not "see" everything. I hear we were barely missed by an asteroid the other day...didn't hear a thing about it. Nothing until it was passed us.

Its not just Elenin I am concerned with either.....that is for sure. I live on a Planet that is going through major changes. Earthquakes are noticeably frequent and larger it seems but even then...it is only another concern. I am looking at the WHOLE picture and what I see is startling! EQ's, World Economic Collapse, Volcanic Activity, Oceans warming, animals and bees becoming extinct, famine, hunger, violent weather, even weird weather where it should not be snowing...but is...and so on. I think you all get where I am going....just a lot of strange sh!&!!

How much of the Ocean do we "know" about? I would love to see one of you make an entire thread about the warming of our Ocean and what is going on within it. It may be Elenin causing the Volcanic activity across the globe....or this may have been going on for over ten years now ( it seems that way to me) and we are just now seeing the effects as our Ocean continues to warm at an accelerated rate.

There is a lot going on and I can hardly keep up with all the doom and gloom.

I do not have a bug out bag or anything of the like. One minute I think I need to prepare the next I don't. I mean....if you do not KNOW what is to come then how do you prepare for it.

Living my life, enjoying my family, and just enjoying life is the only way to really prepare. If it is meant for me or my children to survive....we will. Otherwise.....we outta here and will enjoy a better life in the afterlife.

Now what are the chances of that being pure COINCIDENCE? To me, that seems a little too peculiar to be just a COINCIDENCE. Now HOLD ON TO YOUR HATS! i don't see how comet Elenin have an impact with earth, when it was aligning with another planet and the sun. I do believe comets are bad sign of something major to come, but the alignment will only matter if its huge in size. One thing that always bothered me was, i read somewhere that not only Earth is warming up, but so are other planets in our solar system. So either we are entering some sort of heat or energy source, or something is coming towards us. a lot of this myths, predictions and prophecies have a lot in common. One thing is that all the doomsday date end up with the date 21, like may 21, 2011, now 10 21, 2011, and the last one is 12, 21, 2012, there is something up with the date 21, but no one knows which is the exact month and year.

How about the idea that SOMEONE has given you an excuse to hide their sick agenda... Elenin isn't a code word, it's to give all of us a "reason" for what is occurring. Plant the seed... And watch it grow.

I would consider it being cautious...

...and this mysterious object was mentioned back in like 1981... It is nothing new... It was a friend who is obsessed with astrology/conspiracy theories who brought it up and got me into in when I first moved out to Van... back last Oct.. so
