Hey all, filmed this photoshoot with a local band, Futuretown, and have caught something on camera that is very spooky, I have tryed to zoom in on the footage to analyse but needs more of an experts touch,

This footage is taken from a 4 part documentary I have produced for the band which includes this photoshoot.

Please take time to look up my youtube channel to understand that with what i do we always have the camera rolling

I'm going to go with a "moth" or another flying insect. You can clearly see the wings flapping....well I can see them.

I think you caught a bug on camera.

Just my opinion though.

notice the water doesn't effect it in anyway and it is slightly transparent

Just what do you think a "ghost" is, anyway? What does it have to look like or do in order to be classified as a ghost? Because there are all kinds of things that might look like a human figure or face for a second or two.

What's a "ghost?"

The transparent part you speak of is the wings flapping. I can shoot a relatively decent spray of water from a hose that won't affect a flying insects flight path. This is of course just one mans opinion.

we have compared it with shots of bugs in the same part of the building and they display more of a 'ROD' like pattern, a long streak with five sets of wings, looks like centipede, but these we know are bugs,

If this was a bug wouldn't it at least alter its flight path due to the water? and there doesn't seem to be any opaque part of the orb,

to me the whole thing looks transparent

I understand what your trying to say. Could it be a spirit? Yes, I admit it could be. I'm just giving you my opinion of what I believe it is. Remember when "rods" were a big mystery? I do!

I believe some orbs are real. But most are either dust, insects, or lens flares. Orb photos and vids are a dime a dozen these days. It's just too easy to explain away as something natural.

The camera is already focused on the drummer, so it's not going to be able to focus on anything closer without re-focusing. The sunlight through the window illuminates the bug and it's wings. So all we see is the blur of the bug flying through, which explains the transparency.

just my two pesos.

Maybe it's an orb or a fairy. Looked to be flapping some wings.

Steve the photographer, the guy you hear saying 1,2,3 complained right before we started rolling that his flahses were going off randomly by themselves, this has never hapend to him before

Also he is snapping shots as the footage is taking place so he is currently studying the shots to see if he has it on the pics

This will be great as we would have video and photographic evidence of what ever it is

It's transparent because of its proximity to the camera. If you are wearing glasses, and there is a small speck of something on the lens, you will not see that speck when wearing the glasses, you will see right past it because it's too close to focus on. The same thing goes with small bugs and cameras. Consider how small the bug might be, maybe a mosquito or a midge. I'd go with the latter, especially in warmer weather.

I honestly don't see it being anything other than that, sorry.

Did anyone else notice that it sprang up from where the stick hit the drum? I was watching the drum itself, which was emitting spark-like things (light off waterdops?) and saw a flash of light like that then rose up and slowly "flew away" - the little orb thingie -

I dunno.

Certainly a moth or some other winged insect. The transparency is the flapping of the wings as it flutters by.

That transparency is only for a few moments as well. You'll notice the rest of the time it completely blocks out the background with it's body.

the way that the object is moving defenitly denotes it as an insect
as well as you can see it wings blurring (not very spooky)

It's undoubtedly an insect.
