This thread had me perplexed as to why it kept going and going..

Even though SkepticOverlord provides a logical debunking of the premise of this thread, I think his posts are being immediately discredited by some here on ATS. Maybe it's because SkepticOverlord is part of ATS. Also I think the "troll" defense mechanism is contributing.

Anyone here can take the time to determine for themselves that the whole basis of this thread is flawed due to incorrect WHOIS information. This can be easily verified by researching it online.

Whether or not the GOVT is behind Anon is irrelevant.

The conspiracy is not being debunked. The method is.
The conspiracy is not being tagged as a hoax. The method is.

The thread was moved to the hoax forum because the site owner disagrees with the premise of the topic and has made his own judgement and opinion? Hmm I wonder why all of the Nibiru topics on this site hasnt been sent to the hoax forum?

Agreed This thread should not be in the Hoax Forum if its a Theory. Many of the Nibiru Topics are Theories as well that's why they aren't in hoax Forum.

No matter...even without additional information, Boon's theory could be accepted as a plausible theory (keeping in mind he's said since the get-go this is nothing more than a theory)...especially when taking into consideration the fact that military front companies exist everywhere and the suspicion on anon being a government operation is not a new theory invented by Boon. Taking these simple possibilities into factor, the fact that this was moved to the hoax section really questions the credibility of this website...is it "deny ignorance", or "deny ignorance unless skepticoverlord doesn't accept it"?

Exactly too many here vehemently attack any notion if Boon-Dock or anyone else claims Lulsec or Anon to be government because the Government doesn't want us to know they are affiliated with Anon/LulSec.

Because that is possibly how they will perpetrate their next false-flag a cyber attack.

And the false-flag would be a good false-pretense for a censorship agenda by the government.

But many fail to see this and will blindly attack even a Theory.

Anywho I feel like I'm beating my head against a wall even typing this, so have a great night folks...can someone define what a conspiracy is, and what type of conspiracy is allowed on the site without being declared a hoax?

Starred good point. Any and all theories should not be declared hoaxes only assertions can be declared hoaxes.

Starred

*Puts Tin-Foil Hat On*

IMO this thread going in the Hoax Forum sort-of confirms what me and others may have already surmised about Anon and Lulzsec.( Just my opinion anyways)

I'm sorry I bothered trying to figure out the truth.

By all means let's just all accept the Anon BS
that is force fed to us in the MSM. That seems to be
the easiest route these days. Just accept the NWO
without question and you will do fine. Anon is here
to save ***cough*** the world.

So... rejecting your errant conclusions because there is no basis in fact or reality means we "accept the Anon BS" perpetrated by mainstream media.

That's a rather bold and egotistical statement.

ego has absolutely nothing to do with it,
I have already stated this.

I want help finding the truth.

It is one thing to criticize one's research,
it is quite another to help them in that research.
And if your intentions were true to it also being
BS in the MSM, then why are you not helping me
even if it just pointing me in the right direction ???
Just criticizing one's techniques does absolutely
nothing to help further the investigative process.

Help me Bill !!!!
This Anon BS propaganda has gone on too long !!!

Do you understand what internet censorship
will do to ATS ???

It will destroy ATS by eliminating your client base.

Bill, I need your help, not your criticisms.

The criticism is well-founded if, when shown the error of your conclusions by an expert, you refuse to accept it.

Based on what I've learned from my contacts with civilian members of InfraGard, there's little need to be concerned. They have been deeply infiltrated and are near a tipping point to disaster.

The mainstream media is merely sensationalizing a bogey-man.

I meant the idea of the post is irrelevant to the reason why I think the thread was listed as hoax by ATS. (I hope I'm more clear now). Many posters on this thread seem to think that skepticoverlord is against the notion that Anon is linked to the GOVT. I don't remember seeing that bought up (unless I missed it). I only see the WHOIS information being questioned by subject matter experts. I being one of them.

I personally, am not debunking the idea you are proposing about Anon being a possible GOVT operation. I'm willing to consider that theory. I'm debunking the WHOIS method you used. The WHOIS method is what is in question.

I can take criticism with the best of them
as long as that criticism is done in a
constructive way. In a degrading way,
it is only met with resistance.

Help me !!!

It will help ATS in the long run.

Mainly because i didnt even know about Anonymous, but i shall be researching into it now seeming i am now aware about it.

Cheers

Exactly. Do your OWN research. Don't believe everything you read, especially one post made by someone on a forum.

Ill say it again. Anon has been around for years starting out as trolls on 4Chan... It wasn't until recent that they came out with fighting against a real issue... I don't know why? But I am 99% positive that they are just a group of kids/ young adults... well we're. I have no idea who's all involved now, nobody does.
It grew into an idea that anyone can be part of, and it caught on like wild fire.

IF this was all set-up by the govnt. then I see this completely back-firing on them.
This has gotten a lot of people razzed up, and look what happened in Egypt. The breaking point was when the govnt. shut down the internet.

Bill

you are familiar with the law of probabilities.

Now what are the odds of a computer generating
a random sequence of alpha characters that when
split up into acronyms, each acronym fits together
in such a cohesive fashion and all can be connected.
What are the odds of that happening ???

one in a million ???

If you had noticed this, would you not have
considered investigating it further ???

this is what I did, this thread was not designed
to mislead or hoax or lie to anyone. It was stated
as a theory.

I simply pointed out the very rare abnormality
and then proceeded to explain how all of it could
fit together.

What are the odds of that very same thing
happening again ???

one in a billion ???

would that not be worth questioning
or creating a thread ???

Without knowing the programming, it's impossible to tell.

For example, consider these four lines of PHP code:
$chars = "AEIOUCHKLMPWTSFG";
$max = rand(6,12);
for($get = strlen($chars); $i < $max; $i++)
$code .= $chars[mt_rand(0, $get)];

Each time it's executed, it will create a different text string, randomly 6-12 characters in length, with letters that would do exactly as you say. Meaning the odds would be somewhere between 75% and 100%.

good good good
now we're getting somewhere

fine example

now what are the odds that the
text string created can have
a linear meaning and connections
to each other AFTER it is generated ??
Like say for example

atfciafbiss

which can be broken up as
ATF, CIA, FBI, SS (Secret Service)

I know you understand what I am
getting at here. The connection
between the acronyms is what aroused
my curiosity with the OP of this thread.

GM. BP. Mr. L and Hdq

if you ran the above code that included
the letters in this handle, what are the odds
they would come out in this order and have
connections to each other ???

Now, on top of all that,
the very person using that handle
has a very stake and expertise in
the field that are hiding in ???

This would be equivalent of John Dillinger
randomly get assigned an e-mail of [email protected]

You see my point ???

It would be like sitting down at a Black Jack
table and only playing 1 hand and you draw
a 21 on that 1 hand. It's darned near impossible
to do which is what made this find so unusual
with this handle.

"I found some interesting correlations regarding
the prefix: gmbpmrlhdq "

the odds on this exact sequence are 26 to the 10th power. assuming no numbers, only 26 letters.

that calculation = 141,167,095,653,376 : 1

thats apprx 141.2 Trillion to 1 (thats with a capital " T " !)

almost looks like the national debt in about 5 years!

by the way, the average collective odds on getting a pat 21 blackjack dealt is around 20 : 1
casinos average payoff is 3:2 (varies from 6:5 up to 2:1)...... what a country eh!
that's the "secret of Las Vegas" ..... never pay the true odds .... it's all "market price".

depending on where the cards are in the deck and how many "aces" and "ten" cards are left after the first card is out......
to get an ace - 13/1
to get a 10 card - 13/4 (3.25:1)
13*3.25= apprx 42:1 on a full deck ...... usually goes down from there as the cards are taken out.

in comparison, no where near the above email address!

weigh that number with the corporation and name "coincidences" and the possible contract income, it may not be as far fetched as it first looks !

has anyone dispelled the corporation and familiar name correlations ?

remember the Iran/Contra dark money?
lots of things get "fixed" ..... not everything is "squeeky kleen"

EDIT to add: I forgot the Soros factor ! ...... makes the liklyhood of a "fix" even better yes/no

Hi Boon,

I now see this has been moved to the [HOAX] forum, therefore you are a hoaxer and should be banned.

Hold on a moment...

Theory + Research / Alternative Views = Intention to deceive?

Bad research or not, it's not a hoax.

A hoax is a deliberately fabricated falsehood made to masquerade as truth.[1] It is distinguishable from errors in observation or judgment,[1] or rumors and urban legends that are passed along in good faith by believers or as jokes.

en.wikipedia.org...

[HOAX!]: Dedicated forum for ATS threads that have been proven to be hoaxes, frauds, misrepresentations, part of deceptive schemes, or grossly errant theories/speculations on a variety of topics.
Topics in this forum will range from those that have proven to be an actual hoax to those where a significant majority of ATS members believe the subject matter to be based on fraudulent material.

And if we're getting pedantic...

grossly errant theories/speculations on a variety of topics.

...I'll list 000's more threads we should move direct to [HOAX].

ATS Fail.

GM. BP. Mr. L and Hdq

GM ... 26*26 = 676:1
BP ... 26*26 = 676:1
MRL ... 26*26*26 = 17576 :1
HDQ ... 26*26*26 = 17576 :1

676*676*17576*17576 = 141.2 Trillion to One

same answer as my last post !

different way to calculate ..... the odds are the same.

One more thing on the Whois Privacy Protection/providing true information issue as well. I own two domains with this privacy protection service (from another provider mind you)...I have owned these domains for a number of years and none of the information (mailing address, phone number, my name, etc) is correct or current. I have never lost my domains for providing false information, meaning if I can provide false contact info and get away with it so can anyone else.

Its against the law AND my companies TOS to host child porn... but we're constantly filtering, banning, and reporting people for it at my job.

I can't believe you actually used the "He's doing it so can I" defense....

and lets say they only use half the alphabet from time to time as a scramble.

that would be 13 to the 10th power.

13*13*13*13*13*13*13*13*13*13 = 137,858,491,849 to 1 odds to get a perfect sequence.

that comes to around 137.9 Billion to 1

less letters can be used, but now you get into a problem of duplicate addresses.

how many addresses do you think they have on file that have been used already?

many millions i would say. hence, they need to use many letters in their random selections.

make sense?
