Look at the malicious face on the female officer. She was literally enraged and tearing at the woman's microphone. Someone needs to tell her to lay off the testosterone supplements.

Of course, we all know testosterone enhancement and steroid use among police officers is a massive epidemic that is only throwing fuel on the fire, and furthering the great divide between the people and police every day.

This does not surprise me one bit. The US is meant to be the land of the free, yet this is just another example of a growing trend to stifle freedom of speech.

Yeah, I was about to say... That boy is about as country as me. Born and raised in M.A. What a joke.

I was speaking to a cop friend of mine a few years ago and the subject of the Constitution came up. We talked about a scenario like this story. What he told me made my heart practically stop. What he said was that after the 1933 war powers act was signed, the Constitution was essentially nullified. The police don't mind because as he said it makes their job easier. Even if someone tried to file a law suit all the local government will do is use the war powers act as a defense. We have no rights, it's why they have been as aggressive as they have been. This is the first administration that doesn't care that people know and using it as they are was discussed back in 2004. This is NOT a single party issue they all have all hid behind the facade of a constitution for almost 80 years. Only the President can revoke it not even an act of Congress can stop it. Revoking it was discussed in a 2001 Senate report but it was decided that it would NOT be advantageous for the Government to revoke it. It would make the job of counter terrorism harder. This has been discussed on ATS for years and only now are people catching on, we are living under a tyrannical Government and it will not give up it's power. The system isn't bad it's the players who undermined it. But this was predicted in the Federalist Papers, so much for those "old guys". The reason they want to re define those "old guys" is so no one ever looks at what they knew would most likely happen. They want us to cast the Government aside so they can rule over us directly. Wake up people and wake up as many as you can. Even if you wake up only one person it makes a difference. This proves man must rule themselves with a Government that is so small it is almost non existent.

I've been following this story since I first heard about it. It almost sounds like what happens down south. Sometimes our council gets into the mindset they are some kind of "good ol' boy mafia" that can do what they want, when they want. I've always said we need the real freakin' mafia here to teach them a lesson in humility.

They've been in the position so long because of the apathy of the citizenry and no one either cares or dares run against them. We've finally got a mayor with real guts and he's standing up to them. They've done their darndest to find dirt on him and haven't been able too. I'm waiting for them to blatantly start disobeying him. The good thing is the sheriff, as of right now, is on his side. That's one time my vote seemed to matter.

It would be interesting to see how long these councilmen and women have had their positions. It would also be interesting to see what their connections in the area are. It probably is the Good ol Boy mafia. The mayor seems to be sick of their crap and they're fighting him in the most disrespectful way possible.

The woman in question should sue the heck out of the council and law enforcement, even if it went all the way to the Supreme Court. It'd be interesting to see how they'd judge the case. This is clearly a violation of her basic rights as an American.

Jennifer Johnson clearly had the floor. The moderator clearly said she has the floor, and that jackass made a motion out of order, the council "followed" along like sheeple and voted on an out of order motion from the jackass and she was illegally removed. God I hope she sues the # out the police and city council for illegal detainment. As far as I can see, Jennifer Johnson was unequivocally in the right.

Not this town concils first dance into the coruption status.

Quartzsite complaints dismissed

Quartzsite resident Ed Foster had filed the complaints against Huntley and council members Bob Kelley, Jose Lizarraga and Hal Davidson Oct. 26. He later filed complaints against Norris and council members Patricia Anderson and Barbara Cowell. Foster alleged they violated the town code and broke state law in electing a mayor after three previous mayors left before the mayor's term had expired.

Take a deep breath lapi7 .........relax. Don't throw a blanket over everybody like that, it's not right. Quartzite is a small town that used to be a mining company owned town when it first started out. The town I live in is exactly the same in that regard. From what I saw on the video there are other similarities as well. The council has more authority than the mayor, and there are certain council members who are power hungry. Chances are, the council member who was responsible for all this has been a longstanding member of that community who has a lot of clout, a lot of pull, over a lot of people. And like so many other people in that position, he's a prick about it.

As for the citizens in that room, I see similarities there as well. I got the distinct feeling that most, if not all, of them had no idea what was really taking place as it was taking place. Some people can go to council meetings 2 times a week for a whole year, and still be clueless as to what is really going on. Even in small towns like this, there is a lot of "political speak" done by the council members that gets lost on the average citizen. I can't speak for Quartzite, but here in my town there are a lot of uneducated locals, and the council members, some of whom don't even live in this town, know this and don't seem to care. They could "dumb down" the language if they wanted to, but they don't want to. They want to keep a very heavy thumb over as much of the populace as they can.

What my experiences have shown me is that there always seems to be a lack of communication between leaders and the followers, especially in cases like this. And it's intentional on leaders' part. Personally, even though I hold the keys to the oldest commercial buildings in this town that sit on Main St., I don't get involved with the political BS that I know goes on. I know better at this point. Most, if not all, of the leaders in this town would rather see those buildings get demolished than refurbished. I've talked to enough of them on the side, and I know how to read between the lines. But then they'll turn around and try to convince people that they want to keep the historical integrity of the town intact. They do this to get votes. That's all. I have a job to do and I don't have time for that sh*t.

Even in small towns like this, YOUR LEADERS DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU!!! People need to realize this and stop playing their games. I don't have all the answers here, but I can tell you that the way everything is set up these days, from the big towns to the small ones, average citizens will never win because the ones in charge don't want them to. They don't want a level playing field. They don't want citizens speaking their mind if it contradicts the mind set of those in charge.

The ones at the meeting are mostly older and frail-looking. No wonder they didn't stand up and say something. They would have ended up with a broken hip and tazer wounds.

Also, this goes to show the mentality of your average small-town redneck cop. They obey orders like robots and have no clue what people's rights are. I've been through a small-town kangaroo court system and it is unbelievable.

It is not a growing trend in the US. It is not NWO.

It is small town political corruption. Those who think they are off the grid and no one cares outside their little "kingdom". That they are isolated and can do whatever they damn well please.

Its as old as dirt.

The use of law enforcement to remove a recognized speaker form a city council meeting is outrageous. The mayor is the highest elected authority in that room and is typically, the leader of the city council. Nothing they are doing should make it dangerous for a woman to have 3 minutes of free speech. Those law enforcement officers should be fired.

To avoid this "jackbooted approach", all of the law enforcement officers in the USA should have to have a 4 - year college degree and a basic understanding of our nations laws, and especially, the US Constitution. These officers really stuck their noses in a hornets nest and if this woman goes after them, she will win hundreds of thousands of dollars at the bare minimum.

These things are happening with some frequency throughout the country and the tempo will continue to increase as the national debt continues to spiral out of control. The debt is our lack of freedom, quantified. The chief architect of this is the Obama administration.

Yes you are, as well you should be.

It isn't necessarily advocating violence, if the intention is just driving out the scum and getting a real government put back in place. It should become extremely difficult for those people to live and work in that town. No grocery store or restaurant should serve them. No mechanic should work on their car. No kid should play with their kids. They should be driven out of town one way or another, and the town should get more elected officials like the Mayor. The same goes for the cops that blindly enforce illegal orders. They should know better, and if they don't know better, they should be educated by their friends, families, and neighbors, and they should either do the right thing or get lost!
