Opinions please

Very philosophical stuff being said here. I follow the ancient Greek faith, that is, I worship the Olympian gods. (Yes, I'm serious.) In Greek and other mythology the universe was created by Chaos spitting out the first gods of Night and Darkness. This sounds very similar to the Big Bang theory doesn't it? So I like the idea of both mythological and scientific cosmogony.

I also like the idea of intelligent design, for example: How does a false coral snake mimic its more poisonous cousin? Or, how does a moth mimic its predator? Even if it is evolution, isn't there an aspect of intelligence to determine such adaptations?

Note: I say 'like the idea of' because I try to keep an open mind as much as possible.
