Thought I'd share this video.
And for all the anonymous bashers just watch the video. Maybe it will get you to rethink your prior judgements.

This was touched on here but that video wasn't posted, so I think it qualifies as new info. Just in case they don't agree and shut you down, S&F ♥

Also, I think anyone who still doesn't understand should visit this thread

ETA Anonymous Message for those who can't see the video, I transcribed.

We would like to thank all the media for doing such a lovely job of raising this issue to a global level. For clarity, we are mostly standing for "Food, Not Bombs" free speech rights, if Nuns were feeding we don't think this would be happening. It is the FNB's message that you don't like, and we see this as just another back handed attempt at censorship. This being a censorship issue, we do not need "Food Not Bombs" permission to join in this fight. We have plenty of credentials in the area of fighting for free information and speech. And when it does come to the food issue, we stand with neither "Food Not Bombs" nor the city of Orlando. No, we stand with the hungry people. The Mayor says they have other options, but it seems self evident, that people who stand in lines 50, or 100 deep, for a hunk of bread or a bowl of soup are hungry. The public space peacefully being used to offer them food, is the human right you must not interfere with. Anonymous is reasonable. We are not here to harm, but to help. We will therefore be generous and call for a 48 hour cease fire, in (?) Orlando. We have made our point. we call on the city of Orlando to reciprocate on this cease fire and not arrest anyone feeding in the park for 48 hours. We highly encourage everyone, especially the city of Orlando to reassess their positions. Let calm heads and open hearts prevail, and peace and justice rule your community. Don't let Orlando become known for being on the wrong side of human rights, or on the wrong side of history. We are everywhere. We are legion. We never forget. We never forgive. Expect us.

I will feed anyone I choose to in this land of the free! Orlando is a lawsuit waiting to happen! What will be next "Kiddies in Cuffs" for trick or treating? Taking down grandma for the cookies she gives away?

Sux, my audio card took a dive, I haven't been able to watch videos comfortably, going to come back to check this out as soon as I resolve my problem.

But to be on topic, I do believe that the fact that Anonymous is structured the way it is, it leaves the door open for people with malicious intent (in general) to come in and use the name of anonymous, thus leaving a bad taste for some people as to the intentions as a whole of anonymous.

That may prove to be a downfall for such an "unorganized??" organization.

Problem with the whole concept of Anon is that anyone can commit an act of any kind and go under the guise of 'Anonymous' making it easy for smear campaigns and false flag attacks to ensue. Hence I will never be able to trust that the majority of Anon are still /b/ browsers and genuine citizen hackers.

Seems like a handy tool to have at your propaganda based disposal.

Good job with this one though!

yes that is true but I think it wouldn't be to hard to distinguish between people trying to better humanity and people trying to hurt it..

Well lets say a futile attack on a corporation or government agency has little results BUT is considered an attack against a nation and for the people. Subsequently the internet gets even more censored.

Cyber false flag attacks are going to be quite a common occurrence from now on.
IMO anyway.

I agree it should be easy to distinguish the good, the bad, and the ugly.

I disagree that this is an excuse for a false flag. If you buy into the idea of a false flag at all, you would clearly see they need no excuse to create one.

As far as internet censorship, its been well underway for many, many years, and will continue to progress with or without Anonymous to take the blame.

Support Anonymous and spread the videos to everyone. Orlando can't deny people food, this isn't costing the government anything. They just want to show how in charge they are and that if you break their "rules" you pay.

Once again I tip my metaphorical hate to Anon.

Screw the dictators, people need food.

This does not dispute the fact that internet false flag attacks could potentially bring about a much more rapid censorship of the internet. I never claimed that Anon were being used like this but you cannot refute the very real possibility.

Denying ignorance should not include denying discernment.

The government can censor and point fingers all they want, but its the government doing the censoring. It is the idea of Anonymous that is trying to stop it. People are getting involved in this movement because we've been dealing with censorship since the beginning of the internet. A lot of the people (not saying you specifically, but a lot) on this site, think its a new thing.

Internet censorship is not new. The popularity of the internet is only bringing it more to light. The anonymous movement is gaining momentum BECAUSE of this. If they had tried to fight it 10 years ago, they wouldn't be all over MSM. No one would even have paid attention.

I agree. All I am saying is that the concept of 'Anonymous' as a guise could easily be used by whatever corporate or government entity wishing to use it.

That's the problem with the whole 'Anonymous' concept. Anyone can claim they are Anon and launch an attack and change can come from that attack. Good or bad.

not anyone can....and because they are hackers.....they can find out who would be doing these things to undermine them......

You think they wouldn't be able to find out who was running a smear campaign against them?

If they can hack the gov.....they can hack any politicians e-mails and what not to launch their own smear campaign to make all those people against them seem non credible.....

Anyone can claim to believe in the concept
not everyone can be a hacker

Even the members of this forum, who claim affiliations with the original Anonymous group have already said that the majority of them ARE NOT hackers (see link in 2nd post on this page) - and as I said above - this is about the idea - the idea that we can be free - not "just as free" as they want to allow us to be
