Going to echo what others have already stated, but Tolle is a tool, parroting what others before him have said and making a healthy profit from it. I could not give half a liquid defecation about Jim Carrey's "spiritual awakening". Actors are THE most self-serving people in society, and their "awakenings" are always bandied around as though we ought to care what these self-glorifying, glorified liars say...when they offer up nothing original whatsoever.
The entire "new age" schtick is perfect for actors. It is the most selfish strain of "spirituality" around. Its all about YOUR inner peace, YOUR well-being, how special YOU are. I tire of the hollywood worship rubbish. What a joke.
Let me guess, our buddy Jim has no intentions of giving his riches to the poor.
justifies being callous and ignoring the plights of others
Carrey took part in the America: A Tribute to Heroes charity telethon for victims of 9/11, and donated $1 million to the cause.
In August 2007, Carrey made an internet video to try to bring attention to the political suppression in Burma, especially of Nobel Prize winner Aung San Suu Kyi.

Jim Carrey donated $1,000,000 to the families of the victims of the terror attack. Jim Carrey's publicist gave this statement: "with his deepest sympathy for their unredeemable personal losses. He hopes this donation encourages other people to contribute as generously as they can."
Jim Carrey told the touching story of two survivors who carried a woman in a wheelchair 68 stories down the stairs to escape from the twin towers because she had been unable to save herself, without even knowing her name.
He also answered the phone to take donations from viewers from USA and Canada.

Scary thought process you have there. Your comment is an example of whats wrong with the world. Hopefully one day you may be lucky enough to have a spiritual awakening. Even rich people have a soul.
The next headline will be: "New Best Buddies: Jim Carrey and Charlie Sheen"

I don't think this is about being rich at all. Jim Carrey is a person that makes people laugh, he is an idol of comedy. I think people can respect him for that reason, and see beyond his riches. After all, anyone can become rich. At least he probably uses his money a bit better than most rich people.
