I am an Army Officer and have been for over 20 years. I am sick and tired of the talk from people on this forum that wouId say that I conspire against them. I am am sick and tired of people saying that we are going to kill them or put them in camps. I am sick and tired of people saying that we did 9/11 to have wars to fight.I am sick and tired of being called a baby killer and an oppressor. we are here do uphold the Constitution and protect the citizens of the US.

Why am I demonized on these forums. Why am I hated.

I gave my life to protect and defend our country,

I give my life and soul to give others Freedom.

Why am I hated in my own country.

While I myself have never bashed the military, and I do support them... I can honestly say I have never really seen anyone on here point the finger at the military and say "You. You're the bad guy".

But in all honesty, saying you're sick and tired of people exercising their First Amendment rights isn't making a solid case for yourself (as an individual).

I think the reason people think that is because of the chain of command. If Martial Law became real tomorrow, IMO your superiors would most likely have some cover story and say you need to help get everybody to safety in "health camps" or something like that.

That's something I've always thought about, if Martial Law became a reality would all law enforcement and military go along with it, or would they stand up against it. Would you stand up against it? And if so, how?

Are you kidding. What is with all of the threads about military moving into major cities right now to put everyone in camps. I come out and say that there are units that are rotating from OEF and OIF/New Dawn and people are calling me a liar in my PM's. They say we are going to heard them into camps and reduce the population. Tell me why when I defend them and they say I want to kill them and everyone else I cannot be "Sick and Tired"

I don't think I've ever seen anyone blame an Army Officer for such conspiracies as 9/11. You seem to be lumping yourself in with multiple conspiracy theories, yet by and far, I don't ever see people suggesting negative things about regular Army Officers on this site. I think you need to read more of the threads on here, my friend...you seem to be making quite an assumption that everyone here is against you, which is simply not the case.
Army Officers are not generally thought of as the ones behind such conspiracies....it's Big Buisness and/or darker corners of the Government that is generally blamed. Why are you imagining anyone here is bashing enlisted men?
By and large the people here, are very supportive of the troops!

I haven't seen the comments directed at you personally, but most posts I come across the anger is directed at those who condition you to think a certain way and then send you off to fight wars under false pretences.

We are not idiots. We are the same folks as your mpm, dads, friends. You think we would take unlawful orders against our own friends and families.

It's just stereotyping. Many join the armed forces for good reasons.

The problem is those who control the military. They tend to abuse it for their own agenda.

No doubt you joined under the right pretences, but defending the rights and freedoms of the people of the US and those that are oppresed around the world isn't the real agenda imo. A million dead in Iraq and deformed babies being born on a regular basis isn't really living up to those principles is it?

Why would you personalize criticism of an organization as large as the US Military? If I worked for Starbucks brewing coffee at a bean shop and I heard someone claim Starbucks was involved in shady deals in Equador, I would have a hard time feeling responsible for their actions. There's a fine line between pride and nationalism, and it seems a bit niave to me to think the US Military, in particular, is sparkling clean. Compartmentalization is your absolution.

Has there been mismanagement at times in the past. Yes, to many times. It was not about the goals but about the execution and achieving those goals. I could probably fill a forum myself on that subject. But there is never a doubt on defending the citizens of the US. Not fighting against them or enslaving them or hurting them.

In conspiracy sites Standard Reality is left behind.

Sometimes it's turned upside down or reversed, it's focused from several points of view. We speculate, and play gigantic join-the-dots with isolated facts drawing a new picture. That's what makes it addictive.

Im sure most of us feel respect for the military in our common lifes. I certainly do, for any Western soldier deployed. The Military is an incredibly interesting issue because you are the effective operational strength of the World, you could indeed destroy it, overthrown every single politician, you could blow the IMF away or take over the Fed, you have power to do those things and many many more.

Besides, there have been dozens (or hundreds) of secret military projects run in the past (public today, available even at wikipedia) and that triggers in any restless mind reasons to believe there are new projects running. Social, technological, etc. Im really interested in all weaponry and aircrafts... So.., may I ask, have you ever seen the TR-3B around....?

As to the rest of your post, are there bad elements and mistakes, Yes there are. But trying to demonize the whole military why do we not focus on those bad elements and fix that. If I was in another country I could point to the crime in LA or NY or Dallas and say the US is a war zone and should be nuked off the planet.

It was just an example, I don't work for Starbucks, and I wouldn't reccomend paying twelve bucks for a cup of coffee to my inlaws lol. I meant that just because you work for a large company and take some measure of pride in your work doesn't make you responsible for their actions.
