Photo with orbs

This is a photo of me being very uncomfortably nine months pregnant a few days before giving birth to my daughter. Now, I've never been a believer of most things paranormal just because I've never experienced anything firsthand, but I've always thought this photo was interesting. I know a lot of people think that orbs are particles of dust in the air or dirt on the lens, but the way these are situated perfectly above and below my belly and the glow in between them make me think that maybe there's something more to it.

Interesting...pretty uniformed shape for sure...I don't know what to think...my first thought though is not paranormal of sorts...but I don't know.

Hooray for getting the pic. finally up...sometimes it is a battle for sure.

Edit: Was there a flash on this camera? If so...was the person using the flash indoors in that light? Might help with analyzing it a little further!

There was not actually a person taking the photo. The camera was on auto-timer with no flash which is how I took pictures on a regular basis to document my pregnancy. I've examined several other pictures taken in the same location with the same lighting and camera setting, and aside from a few blurred images of me not getting to my spot in the 5 seconds before the shot there was nothing different or interesting about any of the other pics.

I am still checking it out...which is kind of fun in itself...but so far the two "orbs" are different in a couple ways...and when I desaturate the photo you can clearly see two different "things" (I don't know what to call them yet).

Also interesting...curving color hues seems to make a nice huge glow on your belly in between the "orbs"...I don't have any idea though really...and I am hoping someone that is more knowledgeable than I am chimes in on this.

Until then though I am going to keep playing with it a little.

Was the immediate photo before and the immediate photo after different in any way?

I know, you said no change - just eliminating things one at a time.

There were a lot of lights on in the room including bright recessed lights in the ceiling at the four corners, a fan/light fixture combination in the middle of the room(this one was not very bright maybe 40 watts), and at least one small lamp that is behind me in the picture. Also, there is a large mirror behind the other side of the camera. I think that it looks like there must have been a flash on the camera because of my eyes, but I recall that I always had to go outside in the sunlight or turn on a lot of lights to take pictures with the self timer, because I could never get them to turn out right with the flash on.

There seems to be something on the blind in the lower left corner. Looks different from the rest.

Could be because of the mirror you talked about.

Was there a flash involved when this photo was taken?
I could be wrong but I think the flash is the common denominator when it comes to these "orbs".
I'm no expert but that's been my experience when I've taken pictures of orbs, a flash was always used, leading me to believe they are reflections of dust or water dropplet particles.

There were no photos immediately before or after this one. There are several in the days before and after, but I never took a series of photos. I just tried to get one decent one to send to my then-incarcerated husband and then get my feet back up, but no there were no abnormalities in any other photos.

That’s very interesting! I've often wondered whether these effects are dust with flash light reflecting off or something else. That’s a great photo & it’s captured the effect very clearly. Thank you for sharing!

I've got some footage on my iPhone that has similar "orbs" whizzing around. I thought it was just dust but they seem to appear in groups & then nothing. Also, the way they move seem too calculated for a random piece of floating dust. Personally I don't know. The footage was all taken in our house of mundane things (playing with the dog, my son talking etc). I've talked to my wife about it & she seems to think it's been more of an occurrence since our son arrived (he was adopted & came to us as a three year old). One section shows a floating spot zoom past & also includes 2 light flashes from each side of the edge of the footage as well. The only light on in the room at the time was above us & doesn't flash.

I'd love to post them somewhere but I'm not sure how the best way to upload video here is. I'd also love someone with some knowledge to check them out. If it is just dust then fine but...

I'd love to see the videos. I hope you can figure out how to get it uploaded, sorry I'm no help there it took me 30 minutes to figure out how to get this picture on here lol.

On what is my right...(your left in the photo...) on the wall at the same level as the lower "orb" there are two nice bright "dots"...with some lighting changes and filtering...there is another "orb" of the same shape in between the bright dots.

I thought that was interesting for anyone else that is checking this out...so although you cannot see the third one...there appears to be three "orbs" in this photo. The light on the blind is glare I am sure...at least thats all it seems to be.

The third "orb" is interesting though...it's difficult to see as it is lighter by far than the upper one on your body..and with the wall being very light also...it's almost impossible to see without "playing" with it...

Anyway...thought I would add that...and I am going to head off again and see what else I can find!

There's a short clip of one occurance. I know its the usual "grainy footage" but it was taken on my iPhone. There are a couple of flashes around the oughside edge & a crazy "dust spec" that seems to have a mind of its own. There was no air movement in the room (no aircon, fans etc). It was very still.

Personally if someone in the know states it is dust then I'm happy. I just don't know how to test for this.

Another piece of footage I have is postable as well. The problem is that its of my wife playing with our dog, using a feather duster!!! I guess people would just say its dust flying out of that. It was a brand new duster that hadn't been used though. If someone would like to see that then I can post as well. The specs seem to occur & then there is none. At the very end I can see another one. I would have thought if it was dust, then it would be more regular & more of it.

Like I said - I'm happy to find out it is nothing out of the ordinary but I've got loads of footage filmed at home this way & haven't seen this before. It only started around the time our son arrived. When he first came here he would often tell me about the "neighbours" who were in our loungeroom. Even going as far as pointing to them when to me, the room was empty. Sometimes he would say they went outside & he couldn't see them any more. Again - small childs imagination or what - I don't know. I like to keep an open mind!

Let me start by saying I am a skeptic of Orbs.

I am skeptic because of all the dust particles floating around at any time. Our skin for example particles floating around us. In all the pictures I have taken before digital cameras came alone I never captured these orbs. I see orbs a lot in my digital captures especially in a room full of people...(skin floaties) or outside at night..(dew drops).

Until you can show me a control picture of orbs in a dust/dew free room then I will continue to be a skeptic.
