So you are stating that flares which appear to be correlated to planetary positions are affecting the Earth in what manner? The first article is about predicting adverse effects on satellites and humans in space. Then you mention a thread here at ATS discussing this issue.

I believe you made a reference to the non-event called 5-5-2000. It was the grand planetary alignment and all of the fringe authors and their groupies were harping on this issue. It was balderdash then and sheep dip now.

Please illuminate us by what you mean by large. Are you talking about a magnitude? Are you talking about a quake that initiates a tsunami? Are you talking about a quake that kills lots of people? What does large mean?

The reason I ask is that I simply think you are making up poppycock and I want to be able to see you clearly justify your claims when nothing happens in October. So spit it out! Be more specific with your rather vague claims.

I have only had 2 other precognitive dreams. They involved pregnancy. My sister was the first one. I dreamt that she was pregnant with a little boy. I had the dream in December 2008. I wrote her a note telling her to use condoms because of my dream only jokingly. I also have very crazy dreams. Some make absolutely no sense. Others are really quite amazing! I do have many water dreams. But mine have always involved big killer whales for whatever reason. *shrug*

Back on topic. So do you know where in the video game this happens OP? My hubby likes FF so let me know I"ll get him to check it out and see what he says.

Also, what's up with the date? I don't recall but was that in the game? Or just your interpretation of it?

Funny you mention the pregnancy bit, as I have one dream that I recall very well that relates to pregnancy. I had a dream a friend of mine was pregnant. The next day she called me very distraught and crying as she tells me the story of how she found she was pregnant and had gone in for an abortion. I do not necessarily mark this up to premonition etc, just an oddity in my life that you reminded me of.

no one is going to be able to predict the world ending because it won't, it's been here for millions of years... bible says only God knows... whatever happened to 2012 being the end? it's about money and fear... the end.

I'm not gonna debunk because we can't tell the future and thus can't see what happens (or doesn't) on October 28th.

We may not know the exact details but there are plenty of things we know about the future.

1. We know that Elenin cannot hit the Earth
2. We know that Elenin will not hit any other planet or the Sun
3. We know that Elenin is not a massive object and will not change the orbits of the known planets in a measurable way.

The list can be made quite long.

Im making an eduacated guess that the next major earthquake is going to be in california.

There was a quake in Sumatra a 5.3. There was a 5.1 in the Phillipines.

Here is what my research AND intuition is telling me is going to happen:

I suggest that this is your imagination gone wild.

1. Elenin will not evaporate. Your claim is fantasy - not research or intition.
2. You list an event after you claim that Elenin evaporates. I guess you did not think before you posted.
3. It is poles, not polls. Besides pole shifts have not happened in 800My and back then it took 15My to complete.
4. Since you made 2 impossible and 3 is impossible, then this is a no-go situation.
5. There has been no increase in volcanic activity over the last 50 years and the situation you claim is not known in the geological record. Another no-go issue.
6.Elenin does not have the mass to "tow" asteroids. Another no-go.
7. No road warriors! How uninteresting is that!

That was a post completely devoid of reality and an understanding of what science is able to predict.

i think the earthquake''ll be 9.5+. The data I presented pretty much guarantees one above 7.0. I think it'll be larger.
Based on new evidence(the position of the moon), the date of this large Earthquake should be between 10/11/2011 and 10/28/2011.

In summary: The evidence suggests an earthquake above 7.0+ and a comet appearing in the sky at the same time, sometime around October 28th. Sorry, but the evidence doesn't suggest the end of the world is coming.
I personally feel that bigger things will happen in that time frame, but not the end of the world.
The only part of my stance that's changed is the exact date. I'm no longer as sure it'll be on the 28th, but possibly earlier.

Where do I think the earthquake will occur? I think it'll be in the US somewhere, maybe New York of all places.

If you are trying to understand astrology, add to your computation that planets aligning have a resonance wince they have been doing the same for milions - possibly billions of years. That is the only explanation scientists have for the tides of the Moon. Why would the Moon cause tides? How come marching French arm troops managed to break and sink a bridge in the nineteenth century? The answer is resonance. The basis of physics for all radio communication. (Radio works, by the way, right?)

A common ruse of the pseudosciences is to use scientific words to pretend that things like astrology are legitimate. Sorry, but the resonances of planetary systems are related to the positions of the objects and nothing more. Tides are related to the positions.

Astrology makes claims beyond position. Those claims have been shown to be hooey for many years.

So an astrology group made a prediction. They may or may not have gotten one right. From what I have seen they would do much better if they simply flipped a coin.

The gravitational formula worked out by Newton shows that people near you have about the same gravitational force on you as Jupiter.

This reminds me of the hoax pulled back in the early 1970s when the BBC told its listeners that a chance alignment of Jupiter and the Earth and Pluto would nullify gravity. They recommended that their listeners try to lap at just the right moment to float freely in the air. People told the BBC that it worked.

Isn't it wonderful that there are people out there that can be so gullible that they actually thought that gravity could be "turned off."

Also, if you do the maths with gravitational orbits & forces (the stuff that Newton invented), you'll see that there are no significant forces produced.

Too funny!!!!! Gravity was "invented" by Newton? I believe he may have possibly discovered the effects of it, but who really knows for sure, none of us witnessed his work nor have any of us seen his texts. I have studied his alleged wrtings, but how do I know for sure they were HIS writings. I don't. Everything is speculation until proven beyond the shadow of a doubt.

Gravitational forces act upon each other and the matter, that is fact, weak and strong gravitational forces and atomic and sub-atomic gravitational forces. But the resultant effects take time to calculate and determine the reactions.

I'm actually in the middle of reading Dark's threads, and have many questions. I realise many do not like him and find him a hoax. I suppose all we can do is wait and see what happens on his predicted dates.

I appreciate the thread, but I'm so tired of hearing all these predictions and nothing comes fruitation! It's so frustrating and I feel it just perpetuates fear...I'll take my chances and if I'm still here on October 29th, i'll be glad I didn't let the fear take hold. Thank you for the effort

That's just a bunch of hooey. Are you suggesting that these objects are not affecting the path of other objects wen not aligned? This is just malarkey. The path of all objects is affected all of the time. Alignments are meaningless drivel for astrology lovers. The path of celestial objects can be so clearly predicted that occultations of stars by small asteroids can be predicted with amazing precision. The exact towns and times are posted well in advance of the events. The path of an object such as Elenin can be predicted months in advance.

Just a laughable claim. You have presented nothing. What is well known is that NO large quakes are affected by anything outside of the Earth.

And what fake evidence is that? You provide a 17 day window. Is the quake on the side facing Elenin, or the Sun, or the Moon, or what?
