Mods, feel free to move this thread if need be.
There have been a couple of threads about NASA's warnings and what they mean. Could this be the beginning of what it's warning about?

Here's the link to the latest NASA warning thread about preparedness,
thread

I could have inserted it into the above thread, but I wanted everyone to be able to see the following video which I think is both awesome and scary. I do not follow the outer space or alien threads, so feel free to comment on what you see.

The following is filmed at a religious procession, but see what happens a few seconds in.

Hmmm...interesting when was it uploaded? Could they be comet fragments from that 7.5k miles comet that blew by the other day?

A large meteor breaking up into smaller ones.

Or some space junk breaking up in the atmosphere as it falls to Earth.

Pretty cool though.

Are they playing the same thing over and over, or is it happening multiple times?

This is interesting, considering the "space debris" that narrowly missed the ISS today (assuming that video was shot recently).
Looks like meteors gravitationally attracted by the Earth as they passed nearby, rather than meteors that were heading for us to begin with, considering how long they stay in the air. Meteors entering the atmosphere should be moving a lot faster than that, unless they've been gravitationally bound by the Earth before falling into the atmosphere.

It was uploaded this evening. Are there more to come? Awesome, isn't it?

The footage is "cut" in a way that separates the two events completely. If this was edited from the same footage then it should have been edited so that there is continuity between events to properly associate them and build a real video journal of the event.

On another note I've seen that meteor footage before. Pretty freakin cool!

I was wondering about the space debris too.

......and you're sure it wasn't something done exactly for this event? I'm thinking fireworks, some sort of burning material catapulted out? Something of that sort they do as part of this celebration?
Do you have any info on where this is, and when?

I like you... I tend to appreciate your posts....

But seriously? This one is terrible.

(I agree, they are most likely not ufo's... and probably a meteor shower...)

However, to just say something silly like "I am a scientist I would know" is a bit much no?

1line.

You didn't even say what you think/know they are!

(I'm not saying you aren't a scientist, I'm not saying you are wrong either... but I'm saying this post was essentially drivel... but I still

I'm not a scientist (but I play one on the internetz). And I have no idea what to make of this. It appears to be two videos edited together to insinuate that there's some relation between the two events. This is a propagandist's trick; it's dishonest on its face and should be called out.

Aside from that, I have no reaction other than, "So what?"

My guess is that it's not replayed, but one single event. But if you're the real Ashton (and if you are, please stand up --love your work) you tell me.

Too slow for asteroidal or cometary. Pretty similar to this.

Hm. A satellite breaking up as it enters the atmosphere.
That would've been my second guess.
If I had thought of it.

Also, I'm thinking, aren't meteors typically orangish as they burn up? Being rock, or iron?
This, burning white, would seem to be more artificially metallic. Ergo, a satellite.

Any date on that video?

It may have been the re-supply capsule jettisoned from the ISS recently filled with garbage that burned up in the atmosphere.

Just a note.... this was originally put on Youtube on April 28th.... not today (June 28th).

UFO DEBRIS OVER GUAYARAMERIN / BOLIVIA (28 APRIL 2011)

Only the video in the OP was uploaded today... but copied and renamed from the above.

Edit to correct: it was actually uploaded May 1
