Here goes: NASA is preparing for something other than what they failed to prepare for in the past! Are we in the loop? Nope, it's our money but we are not their "family", this part is clear.

I work for a MAJOR Insurance company that employs 17000 people in my state alone. We have had various safety drills lately and this video was actually almost word for word for one of our mandatory classes. Stop googling to find out where I work..lol and read on...

When someone asked why the emphasis on this NOW..the instructor explained our company wants us to be safe in case of ANY emergency. He used the example of a semi wreck carrying toxic waste on a nearby interstate.. HMmmm

That happened not too long after and we did NOTHING.

Anyway.... just wondering if the CEO's of our country are in cahoots with someone and know something we dont.

I have only been on this forum for a short time and I am starting to sound like a *GASP* consipracy theorist..

You know, the video and the preparedness isn't going to matter anyway, because you know us southerners, we're just going get a case a beer, sit on the porch, and watch the show. Maybe our last show, but who cares, least we got front row seats.

I just read somewhere where a lady listened to something similar to that, taped herself inside the home and died of suffocation. I can't remember where I saw that.

But of course the presumption is/was that Elenin has no mass and maybe that is still the thinking? in fact if you look around, Morrison has said quite a lot about Elenin, and Niburu, enough to make a video rubbishing the Niburu concept??


Dr. Bill Cooke of NASA's Meteor Environment Office is another in the front line who also makes comment about comets, in this link he would exclude comets,"highly unlikely" carrying virus's, (perhaps pertinent to this thread) but would include them carrying biology, blah blah.

LETS see.....I would agree that it is paranoia except that if this is standard practice..............when did they do this last year, year before, before that.......during Iraq wars........Vietnam wars......hummmmmmm .
Can't remember it........they did not do it.........no standard issue "be ready for emergency and have bug out bag for family, etc." ........Come on.........this is unusual behavior......
Like every day your neighbor gets up has coffee and leaves house....this day.....he sneaks out and tells no one.....hum unusual behavior. Not saying that a deviancy from behavior is abnormal sometimes there are reasons. However, 2 warnings in such a short times span. Wars all over middle east, Elenin coming, numerous Volcanoes going off, Solar flares. Nope nothing to see here...move along all is normal. This is standard practice. yea, keep telling your self that.........move along all is well.

Getting Ready for the Next Big Solar Storm

June 21, 2011: In Sept. 1859, on the eve of a below-average solar cycle, the sun unleashed one of the most powerful storms in centuries. The underlying flare was so unusual, researchers still aren't sure how to categorize it. The blast peppered Earth with the most energetic protons in half-a-millennium, induced electrical currents that set telegraph offices on fire, and sparked Northern Lights over Cuba and Hawaii.

This week, officials have gathered at the National Press Club in Washington DC to ask themselves a simple question: What if it happens again?

"A similar storm today might knock us for a loop," says Lika Guhathakurta, a solar physicist at NASA headquarters. "Modern society depends on high-tech systems such as smart power grids, GPS, and satellite communications--all of which are vulnerable to solar storms."

It is my belief the above article is why NASA seem to be pushing these preparedness plans atm..

I am not saying they are withholding information, i think the recognize a pattern and the above scenario is a real possibility atm.

Be prepared .. if the power go' s for weeks , your shops will be empty in a day , water may stop being pumped to your house, in this age of technology everything is interlinked, in fact the very running of certain countries depend on it, People would be plunged into a modern-day Dark ages.

Speaking at the forum, Allen called for a new kind of forecast: "We
could use All Clear alerts. In addition to knowing when it's dangerous
to go outside, we'd also like to know when it's safe. This is another
frontier for forecasters--not only telling us when a sunspot will erupt,

Again i am not implying a cover-up ( although one may exist ) i just think they are trying to prepare their staff for this possible event.

This is far different from past EMS promos:
None ever said to remain indoors and tape 'er shut. Past promos encouraged evacuation (even a rope ladder --remember that? And having a common meeting place (in case of fire or EQ)
Then in case of tornado or hurricane, go to the basement or inner closet etc.

They are warning of an environmental disaster. Chem, bio or nuclear fallout is the danger they're conveying. I do believe someone is seeding chemicals or aerosols, as I've felt it twice now and got sick from it. A healthy member of my family just had emergency thyroid surgery (that did not go well.)

But turn off the water to the loo? They'd better explain that reason to me, unless it's connected to a power grid outage.

Well I find this disconcerting. Without really trying to, just following our intuition each day, we've slowly had events and opportunities lead us to a good situation in case of a big crisis (we've got all we need to survive, have a big stone house inland, high elevation, with water sources and food sources, under ground caves under the house for storage and what not (in one even a natural spring that runs into a large stone basin, that is safe for drinking- we could stay in there and not even have to go out for water!), an old stone bread oven outside, a horse for travel and work if needed, etc.) and yesterday a chain of events led us to decide to close the grocery store- bakery I have, and all the stock is mine to take home. That means a HUGE amount of food! Canned foods, bottled water and drinks, even non-food items like toilet paper.....two big freezers.
In two weeks one of our caves if going to be full of enough food for a year.

So I guess we're almost set! I did talk to my kids last night about us setting up some form of preparedness, and I feel a bit stupid, for maybe nothing will happen, but if the government is getting ready, it couldn't hurt for us to do so too, just in case.

I agree, why else would you shut the winows, close vents, turn off aircon, and "move to a room that has no windows or the smallest window"????? - there are numerous comments about having lots of bottled water - so you would not want to drink from your town water coming up the pipe either.

I too got the notion to move out to a high altitude farm with plenty of natural water, but I dont see that as an advantage if something bad will be coming in my wall vents......

I recall listening to Jim Stone (jimstonefreelance.com) on the radio interview regarding Fukushima, that his (what sounded outlandish dot-joining at the time) theory was that now they have proved reactors can have trouble when water is around them, it would be easy to create a nuclear disaster in US especially in light o fthe current flood situation..........

since there are reactors in USA you dont need to be nuked to be exposed to radioactive influx to your air, water, and food

what to make of the comment that its necessary for a week (as perviously mentioned here)?
