I remember seeing this guys work in passing on Discovery, or National geographic, I forget which.
I thought it was awesome, and was surprised that no one else thought of the idea to not only film in time lapse but move the camera in the same fashion as well.

Sometimes the simplest ideas yield the coolest results.

Explanation: In the final move of its kind, NASA's space shuttle Atlantis was photographed earlier this month slowly advancing toward Launch Pad 39A, where it is currently scheduled for a July launch to the International Space Station. The mission, designated STS-135, is the 135th and last mission for a NASA space shuttle. Atlantis and its four-person crew will be carrying, among other things, the Multi-Purpose Logistics Module Raffaello to bring key components and supplies to the ISS. Pictured above, the large Shuttle Crawler Transporter rolls the powerful orbiter along the five-kilometer long road at less than two kilometers per hour. Over 15,000 spectators, some visible on the right, were on hand for the historic roll out.

Beautiful. Notice how clouds undulate like waves. Perhaps we air breathers are much like water breathers --- same world different elements.

Explanation: What if you saw your shadow on Mars and it wasn't human? Then you might be the Opportunity rover currently exploring Mars. Opportunity and sister robot Spirit have been probing the red planet since early 2004, finding evidence of ancient water, and sending breathtaking images across the inner Solar System. Pictured above, Opportunity looks opposite the Sun into Endurance Crater and sees its own shadow. Two wheels are visible on the lower left and right, while the floor and walls of the unusual crater are visible in the background. Although the Spirit rover is now stuck, Opportunity is continuing on its long trek to expansive Endeavor crater.

Sometimes its nice to take a break from the misery of daily life, the lying politicians, the corrupt mega corporations, the organised crime, the conspiracies, the shape shifting reptilian overlords, and the rest, and just sit in awe at the majesty and beauty of the world around us. How beautiful is our world?

It's always nice to see nature at work without any humans involved.

It is a nice time lapse video, but what the heck does it have to do with NASA?? It was made by a guy called Daniel Lopez from Spain. Maybe give credit where credit is due...

Again i say it... That first video and plenty of others in that link has NOTHING to do with NASA.
They are posted there because they are related to astronomy.

I've seen this video before a little while back, very cool. Much of it looks like So. Utah. I love how when you see clouds moving on high speed cameras against the mountains it looks like a beach with the ocean crashing waves upon the shore.

Cool Vid. But I have one question. What's the association here with NASA? No credit in the OP given to Daniel López?
