My experience of been in a haunted house..yeah sounds wacky. But when the family experience pulling and touching of clothes and sightings. My memory of this male ghost was it been dressed in flat cap,i was young in bed and in my parents house and it walked across 2 front windows. After which i ran downstairs terrified down stairs.Years later my parents recounted things like pulling and sightings of ghosts..houses in the area were old 1800 style abodes. But weird thing is ive never had anything happen since ..apart from my hair standing on end sometimes.I did active service and saw a bit of the dark side of life.Weird it must be young child thing seeing ghosts ..feel free to disect this..

when I was a child I used to come in contact with
a blue ghost accompanied by blueberry flavored marshmallows
as an adult.... not so much anymore

I think a child's mind/perception is open to everything...
as you get older and society goes to work on you...
your senses dull
just a quick thought

If a child's vibration is higher, it will see higher frequencies.

That is why they see them.

i agree that childrens perceptions are wide open. when i was younger, i used to be called by ghosts to different rooms. also, i was able to tell my mother when my uncle john (who i hadnt even met before), fell off a wall but he was ok. a couple days later, my grandmother said the my uncle had been doing electrical work while standing on a 12 foot retaining wall, and was electrocuted and fell from the wall. someone on site was able to recessitate him. my mother is still freaked by this experience.

I think its possible that kids can experience these things more easily than the rest of us.. Maybe because they don't understand that it isn't "supposed" to be there according to everyone else. Personally I can't remember having any paranormal experience until I was around 15-16. I was a pretty big skeptic.

kids can see ghosts because they see the world without, bias..therefore they see things that us "adults" were programmed NOT to belive are real..

My mum got freaked out by me when i was a kid

I dont remember any of this personaly, but anyway.

When i was around 3-4 - My parents have these dispaly cabnets where trinkets, and my grandmother's china painting was stored. Ontop of it they have a huge collection of old-style alcohol jugs. One of them was quite decorative, had a guy dressed in grey/blue sitting on a tree stump playing a fiddle.

Anyway i'd allways point to ontop of this cabnet and ask my mum why the old man was crying. She allways believed i was referring to the alcohol jug with the guy playing the fiddle. She'd tell me its just the bottle - but i'd insist that it wasnt the bottle and there was a man sitting ontop of the cabnet next to it.

She'd just shrug it off. One day i was telling her about the man again asking why he was crying when my mother had friends over. One of them took interest to me and asked me to tell him what the man was wearing.

I told him he was wearing black long pants - a long sleeved red shirt/jacket with white lines on it.

The guy told my mum later that his great grandfather had been in an resistance sort of thing - and a bunch of them died due to being locked inside a house that was set alite.

I am 25 now, and have no memory of ever seeing any ghosts or the such - tho i wish i could

Thats a very weird story.I ask the question our body dies in the end ..but where does our spirit go..if any where.Think its a question that can only be half answered when people have out of body experiences become semi/fully clairvoyant ...

Thank you for sharing your story with us. As a young child, I used to play at the top of the stairs and talk to my grandfather who I had never met (he passed away before I was born). My mother thought it was the freakiest thing.
