Care to elaborate or attempt to prove any of your points? For starters, the Christian bible isn't exactly the perfect example of peace and love, there is plenty of violence and war throughout as the poster above me has illustrated.

Secondly, everything you have stated about Islam in this post is extremely skewed and without proof.

The Quran says to kill a human being is to be judged as if you have killed all of humanity. The Quran says the Jews and the Christians are righteous and will be judged fairly at the end of days and are the brothers of the Muslims as long as they treat them fairly. Muhammad, the most revered prophet of the Muslims (they believe in Jesus and the gospel aswell) had Christian relatives. The Quran forbids persecution in any way and considers it a sin as serious as murder.

TylerDurden, are you aware that people are not actually bound to whatever's in their sacred books? That, in fact, the majority of people around hte world, regardless of religion, really only bother with that religion on special occasions and when some doofus tries to argue with htem about religion?

The Koran says a lot of absolutely crappy things. so does the Bible. So does the Talmud. So do the Vedas. And the overwhelming majority of the 7 billion people on this planet don't actually care what their book says about this or that.

Unfortunately there are a small minority in the world who do. There's some overlap between that group, and people such as yourself, who know absolutely dick about anything regarding religious texts - even your own - but assume everyone elsein the world slavishly, mindlessly adheres to whatever parts you dislike.

Rarely do I agree with Fox, but BRAVO.

I live in a Muslim country where the people are more open minded and more willing to accept your different beliefs than most Americans. Even those who were raised to dislike Jews don't want to see any harm come to any person. Jewish people live here unmolested. Religion is rarely discussed at all, because they prefer to live peacefully with you and let your private beliefs remain private.

This rule should rule the day: keep your private beliefs private, and stop worrying about what other people believe.

Just because an old book was written for people to follow, in which the author uses convoluted analogies to impart particular moral guidelines, and just because in a certain culture it is commonplace to use said book as a moral compass, does NOT mean that because certain passages from said book should be taken literally by external analyzers and used out of place in order to reaffirm a hateful image of the victimized people in question (ie. muslims)

JUST BECAUSE AN OLD BOOK SAYS THINGS, IT DOES NOT ACCURATELY REFLECT HOW SOMEONE THINKS.

Believe it or not, no matter what religious clique someone belongs to, they are still an individual with their own thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes. Don't put people in a box, because by doing so your not only limit them but yourself.
