If anyone is interested in this tedious game MasterOf Sparks is playing, I refer you to the perfectly reasonable answers I have already given.

You're just spewing gibberish now. Doesn't it make you uncomfortable to squirm and try to mislead. Wilful ignorance to waste my time. You were wrong. I was right. Simple as that. Get over it.

Intelligent discussion.

Could there be aliens? Maybe. We exist, so it's possible. But there's no way to tell how probable.
Are there aliens? We don't know. No proof of it so far.
Are there UFOs? Yes. There are odd things flying around that are unidentified.
Are they connected with aliens? We don't know. There's zero proof of it.

That pretty much sums it up.

*TRUE SKEPTIC*!!!!!

Best and most intelligent reply within this thread. Done deal.

...and you my friend, have admitted ignorance to that which constitutes "critical thinking". I still forgive you, even though you are hung up on trying to argue needlessly and come out on top. As a matter of fact, there's room for you at the top Primander, provided you get with the program. It's called "critical thinking". Hope to see you "there" soon!

I was highly impressed by a paper published a few years back on "The Fifth Force"

What was amazing about this paper was that if the force did exist as described, then it would make it possible to construct a UFO. However it seems that the mainstream of scientific opinion went against this and everybody just looked the other way. In the recent novel "A Disruptive Invention" there are detailed descriptions of how to buld a UFO using the Fifth Force. One can but wonder where the author got all this from.

Maybe these thoughts can steer this discussion back towards the originally stated objective of having an intelligent discussion about UFOs. There is a certain technical consistency amongst UFO observations which the author of "A Disruptive Invention" brings out - a flying vehicle using the Fifth Force needs to be round. It is technically needed for stability to have four symmetrically placed structures on the underside. And finally, when descending great distances, it needs to have a brilliant array of lights underneath. There is an amazing amount of commonality amongst these engineering conditions for using the Fifth Force and the accounts that you can find about the appearance of UFOs.

Maybe this can be the basis of some intelligent discussion about UFOs.

In all honesty, you guys don't deserve to be taken seriously. Every UFO believer I've encountered has managed to violently Grab reality from behind and Strangle it within a few posts of conversation. That wouldn't be a problem except These.

I'm not sure how intelligent discussion is possible with someone who has stored their intelligence in a far away place known to only them.

If one of you would like to step up and prove that i'm wrong about you please go ahead. Please answer the Following Questions.

1: If Aliens are real, and want to do something to us, Why won't they just DO IT ALREADY?

2: Why is the behavior of the aliens in UFO lore so irrational and erratic?

3: Why is the behavior of humans in UFO lore just as irrational and erratic?

Those are very sound/logical questions that deserve at very least, a perspective based answer.

I would like to start first, however, by addressing something that is honestly troubling me. Why are the "believers" here so incredibly defensive? Don't we all want the same exact thing, namely, the truth? Or, are we really more interested in defending those we PREFER to agree with because we "like" what they have to say?

In all honesty, with absolute certainty, I know the answers to these questions. Why? Because I was one of these people for MANY years. Many more years than most people that post on this forum have been alive for.

The reason that it is so easy to fall into the "typical" UFO trap is because as we learn and are introduced to the concept via a progressive learning curve, the "facts" with respect to the information bearing stories being shared, are dramatically overshadowed by both the imaginations of the reader and author.

People like myself are THRILLED to read of such rad prospects, ESPECIALLY when they mean secret governmental involvement and technologies beyond our wildest imaginings. Throw in the whole "Alien Abduction" thing, and people's understanding and consideration for what is a truly fascinating phenomenon, becomes a case for a run away imagination, wherein the reader "feels" completely justified as it all "makes sense" to them.

enter the present, and what we have is basically an entertaining ball of confusion wherein less than scrupulous people can make insane claims, about even insaner notions. 10s of thousands of young impressionable minds, as well as thousands of older undisciplined, irresponsible and critically untrained minds, still managing under the stupidity and idle folly of their own immature or gullible imaginations.

People tend to latch onto ideals like UFOs/Aliens for the EXACT same reasons they do with God, Religion, or any other cult. Deep down they BELIEVE it will make sense of what they cannot make sense of. They are merely aligning their fear based survival instincts (the most powerful instinctual line of thinking that we possess) with something that presents itself as being beyond, or "para" the human condition. UFOs become a part, or even the orbiting center or nucleus, for the search that will qualm our deepest insecurities. That's specifically why there is such a deep and defensive line of dysfunctional reasoning with respect for the "UFO Literature & Media indoctrinated Believer" Deep down inside, and better than 90% are completely ignorant to as much, the "convicted believer" is threatened on a FAR deeper level than they themselves realize.

In my next post, I hope to answer the three questions you have proposed here. EXCELLENT and SUPER INTELLIGENT post! Thanks.

1: If Aliens are real, and want to do something to us, Why won't they just DO IT ALREADY?

Many, many people "claim" they are, but until they (the Aliens themselves) themselves decide to present the world with direct & irrefutable substantiation of their existence and activities, we must either (a) choose by faith to believe that aliens do exist, and have been interacting with human beings since time began for this age of mankind just like we have read and been shown on TV, (b) choose by faith to deny any possibility that aliens exist whatsoever because of having zero evidence that they do, or (c) fully accept that, although it's a likely scenario that life exists elsewhere in the Universe, we cannot state with any degree of certainty, that Aliens are piloting that which we refer to as UFOs. The latter is my personal choice.

2: Why is the behavior of the aliens in UFO lore so irrational and erratic?

Whereas "irrational" and "erratic" are terms that we would normally (and hopefully) apply to ourselves as healthy human beings, I believe that what you are referring to is: "via reports that have been submitted by other human beings concerning supposed aliens, why the heck are these things landing in corn fields out in the boonies and making people pancakes for breakfast, why do they seem to prefer obscure people's bedrooms in the middle of the night, when in fact, it would seemingly make a lot more sense if they were to choose the United Nations building on a sunny day, introduce themselves properly, and support what we would normally regard as diplomacy. Is this correct?

3: Why is the behavior of humans in UFO lore just as irrational and erratic?

Could you give me an example? It's certainly not too hard to think of examples, but I just wanted to answer you "spot on" based on specifics.

Irrational Aliens:

Irrational Humans:

(This video is still in development)

Alien: Wha wha where am I?
Human: Mwahaha Welcome to Area 51
Alien: How did I get here, I remember I was piloting a ship on a medical supply delivery, delivering medication to soldiers fighting off Intergalactic super parasites. I think I made a navigational error.
Human: You crashed into our planet, and we captured you, we’re reverse engineering your spacecraft, and yet somehow making no progress toward interstellar travel at all. As for you, you will be dissected.
Alien: What is that? I vaguely recall hearing about that; it’s a very primitive form of medical examination, abandoned by us for ethical reasons.
Human: We are going to cut you open and rip your guts out.
Alien: Don’t Humans have a few non-invasive scanners? Why not use them instead?
Human: No, we’re just going to kill you
Alien: Why, I’m a perfectly honorable Lizard, I’m friendly enough, and I don’t eat much, and I promise not to try to escape.
Human: No, We’re just gutting you.
Alien: I Demand an independent panel of ethicists.
Human: WE GUT YOU!
Alien: (Sighs) Well there’s nothing I can do about it is there?
Human: Thank you, Oh and by the way, we’ll be taking pictures of the whole thing, So they can be leaked onto the internet by crazy people.
Alien: You’re retarded.
