Google Link Redirect?

I have used google a few times in the last half hour or so (around 9:30p ET) and I can search for things, but when I click on any link it redirects me to a page saying 'Submit Query' and then to a random page with suggested search results, when I click Back on my browser toolbar it seems to be going through a site with the name 'abusiness' a few times then back to google... a second click on another link (or the same one) goes to the site that its link promotes.


Is this our AnonSec friends' doing? I would certainly hope so..

Anyone else notice??

hmmmmm it just worked, then redirected again, i guess i am just paranoid (can you blame me?)

i searched for Google Redirect Virus, thanks for the idea, hopefully I can figure it out.


i like to post anomalies that i notice in real-time just to see if someone else has experienced the same thing so that in the event of something weird happening it can be documented and debated. plus, if its something internal, most of the time i can get a suggestion as to how to help myself out by someone smarter than i =)

its a virus, messed up my laptop, had to reformat

You're definitely infected.. I had a similar issue last year, normal virus scanners did not find it .. I believe it was a type of rootkit infection..

I strongly recommend combofix .. it's free and has saved my tail every single time.
