Like Important Main , Master , Original , Some military Base , Law Firm , Corporation ETC

Then Put them in on Counters , Tables in Places like Restaurants , Gyms ( Lockers) , Clubs
Community Centers Especially Around Bathroom Sinks Etc..

Nice, this with stickers. CD's and thumdrives are less trustful. A QR Code next to the dead drop, explaining what dead drops is seems wise. I'm beginning in Rochester, NY.

Or you can simply pick up a bunch of random cdr or dvd r and burn some documentary information or whatnot.... Write important on it or do not watch or something dumb on it. Write cute kitten or something to make someone want to look at it. Even flash drives right now are not to expensive maybe even find them used and you can fit a ton of information on them. leave it somewhere and see what happens you know. Kinda like sending a message in a bottle in the past except its Truth in a flashdrive.

LargeFries first off, why donate a phone to someone who can't afford one? So tax payers can pay their bill, and secondly flyers will get you a littering fee, and solicitation violation too. That idea is old news, this guy has a great unique idea for those who want to spread the word of GMO to UFO in the new world, let those people donate it or use it without going to a government establishment to obtain one.

I suggested donating a cell phone for the reasons mentioned in my first post. There are charities that get the phones to people who are in circumstances, and they would benefit by them. The charities pick up the tab. It is not your tax dollars being used by charities. You miss the point.

As for getting a littering fee and solicitation violation, this I never heard of and I'm glad you mentioned that. I do not want to mislead anyone into getting into trouble. I appreciate you pointing out my oversight.

Perhaps distributing flyers are old hat. And its still done today. Know why? For the same reason I mentioned in my original post: the success rate is very high. For small business it is a very good return on their advertising dollar. and at the end of the day, do you want to your message reach ONE person or 1,000 ?

I agree. The OP does have a great idea. I didn't mean to piss in his cereal by lending my two cents. I pointed out that 1 phone reaches 1 person. And that is why I shared an alternative "old hat" idea, one that is known to work very well.

I don't know why you are upset by the suggestion of donating a cell to a charity so that someone who is in need, in circumstance, can benefit by it. I believe in giving, in charity. Like I said in my first post, most people already have cell phones. And the basic point of spreading information is to hit a wide target with a large blast, not to shoot one B-B and hope for the best.

Again, just in case other people missed it:

www.abovetopsecret.com...

Sorry if it seems like I'm being Buzz Killington (I'm not, just wanna make sure everybody does it properly, as I think it's necessary to re-evaluate before going ahead & finalizing)...But, please be sure that, if anybody plans to go ahead & do this in their own time, that the information they are including has been thoroughly researched & doesn't contain any dis-information or can be exposed of.

I'm trying to round up every documentary I see as important to openingminds/creating awareness...Then go through each video series, breaking down every point made, researching into them & seeing whether they are worthy & good enough to "revolutionize" somebody's world. (I know it sounds a lot of work, but hopefully it'll be worth it)

Anyway, I'm sure Morpheus & "the gang" had to do their product health & safety checks on the Red Pill before allowing Neo to take it

At the risk of making samlf3rd's hair stand on end, I was wondering about the use of Flash Drives than many posters have mentioned. This goes for other media as well, as others have been mentioned.

I'm no computer geek, but isn't it true that you could pop a flash drive into your laptop/PC and later regret it because a wiseguy loaded a virus onto it? Because of that, I wonder how many people would be willing to open and retrieve data off of a found piece of media.

As I said, I'm no computer expert. I do like the idea of getting words of wisdom to the masses, for sure.

BobbyShaftoe I do apologize if my first post was unwelcome. My intentions in sharing my opinion is to help, not hinder. Spreading the word is of vital importance and I wish all involved the best of luck and success.

Good Idea! Mabye you could even leave a quote on the wallpaper that says something like "read me" to encourage the finder to check out what the phone may have to say!!

Zeitgeist is one of the documentary films included in that list...& although at first, popular, is well known for having dis-information in it & being de-bunked.

Have to admit, haven't actually seen half of these docs (as only certain topics interest me), so I will look into them when possible...They all look really good though, especially the RFID chip docs!

When will you be done with that? You can PM me with that, or I can help. I was gonna go do this, but if you insist lol. We can make an official thread for this, and the QR codes can be linked to that thread? Let me know, if not I'm gonna have to do this dolo.

What was the intention of providing that 3rd page ATS link?

Was going to go full hog & get through as many as I can in the next couple of days, but can't actually find time to do this (due to work, etc), so I'm going through a documentary series here & there when time permits me to do so!

Any help would be much appreciated! Don't know if you noticed, but Oracle just posted a nice thread which contains over 10 video documentaries (unfortunately, this means a lot more proof-reading work to go through
)

And then I'm sure yourself & others have videos that you would like to include! As well as having an extra 20 documentaries myself! (which I'll probably break down to the 5-10 that I feel are most important & worth pressing on)

That's at least 30+ documentaries there, a lot to get through......

How do you think we choose which are the most credible & of most importance from the many varieties of documentaries?

We can make an official thread for this, and the QR codes can be linked to that thread?

Excellent idea! However, I'm not the most advanced technological person in ATS (far from it), so I wouldn't know how to link QR codes to here. But if this is possible, then wow, we may just be able to properly inform people (as well as ATS members) on the good & not-so-good videos that they are watching on a daily basis!

Sorry, I'm new here in posting. I been following ATS in Google Reader for a while now. So I do not know who is Oracle.

First and foremost I would like to declare that there should be organization in this. Let say, 3 levels. The first level of information would be a quick paragraph, or two of the information (a teaser, so it can divulge you deeper or you can dismiss it). Second to that an article, then a documentary. The real interested people would see the documentary, while others would just pass it. At least the second level made will make them think (the whole point of doing this movement [to make people question; be conscious]). If you can post the links, and when I get my 20 posts (not rushing it, I like having convos in here), we can set up the demo thread- from there go official (just state which ones you're working on and we can split the work). It shouldn't take longer than +-7 days. So by next Friday we should have this done and I will instruct people on how to get the stickers going. Not that is hard, you know- for simplification. Simplification always work, as there is always Google to handle the rest (if used wisely).

This is the kind of thinking that saves a culture.

It is this very kind of idea that makes violence obsolete!

Art as message, thumbdrives of corporate disaster!

Transparency, above all...

A quiet resolution, not revolution.

Double mega awesome star for you!

Money-wise: maybe. But $50 and the effort of waking people up sounds bad? Do not be so negative.

Here's the cheapest USB 2.0 Thumbdrive I can find as of right now, if someone can find any cheaper one- please do add in the comments. It'll be less a toll for me in cash. I'm supporting 5 for my city. If more people from Rochester implement this, 3-5 per person (depending on the price of the thumbdrive). Then it'll be good. Combined with the sticker, to me it's something I can sacrifice for us (the people).

Firsts come resolution, than revolution, then resolution again. Nobody wants violence, only the ignorant will subdue to acting violent in desperate future times. Unless, you know- our lives are at stake.

Sounds good to me, although I think we should have a "4th level"; a summary of the video's key points...That way we won't leave people confused & thinking "wtf, where do I start?"

Yeah, an introductory paragraph would be needed (and well thought out for every video, as I feel this is the "level" of most importance...It's either hit or miss when trying to grab someone's attention, & we'll only have a splits second or two before they dismiss & move on!)

My only concern is when we're going through the process of "proof-watching" these videos, is to make sure we do it properly...I'm worried I'll research on something I disagree with, only to find dis-info on the subject, then change my mind & agree to include it in the final list! Guess there's no other way around it, other than to be extra vigilant & dedicate time to really breaking everything down..

I'll be posting you tomorrow (kinda tipsy atm, so not right now
) the links to every documentary series mentioned by BobbyShaftToe, Oracle, myself & others on here in a U2U message, if that's ok. And I'll let you know in the message which ones I'll analyse & split with you.
