okay, so this has happened to me three times now. here's the images of what i keep seeing.

has anyone else seen anything like this happen? i can sit there for a few minutes and nothing changes. it's not a problem, i just want to make sure there's nothing wrong with my computer. but if it is server side, then that would have to be taken care of to of course.

When this happens... 1) What browser are you using? 2) Operating System? 3) Are you going to a book-marked link, back-button, or clicking a link to the board home? 4) Have you cleared your cache?

1) IE 6
2) Windows XP Pro
3) Sometimes clicking on the forum tab on the upper left, sometimes clicking the home button on my browser.
4) Yeah, that was the first thing I tried.

I've never had this problem. Not now, not ever!

I'm going to suggest that it's an occasional problem with one of the ads.

When ads are an integral part of a page, if the server delivering the ads is jammed or not available, then that page will load partly and then lock up. With rotating ads like ours, a refresh will bring up a new ad... and therefore the problem disapears.

I don't *know* that this is the answer, but it's one possibility that my experience suggests is likely.

Nerd,

How Ignorant can you possibly be. Just becouse you don't have this problem DOESN"T mean that lots of other people don't have this problem. Do you have cancer-no, well then by your standards it must not exiast, becouse you don't have it.
My intention is not to flame you, but educate you in how you came off-at the very least to me.
Remember, we are here to "Deny Ignorance" not spred it.
