"Prophets of Doom"

I am currently watching a show called Prophets of Doom on the history channel. Basically They're talking about some of the different scenarios that could bring about the downfall of our current way of life; from water shortages, peak oil, financial collapse etc. I'm not sure if this is the most appropriate forum for this ,but it covers a lot of topics. I'm finding it very eye opening, and interesting. Thought I'd share here as it seems like something a lot of people here would like .www.youtube.com...

I've watched it as well. It is interesting but seems a little scripted. I've actually watched it a couple of times. Don't know anything about the men involved and haven't had time to research their backgrounds.

I think there is more than one episode and they cover different topics with different "experts".

Just watched it too last night. Scripted or not (after all it's History channel) it was scary.
And what impressed me most it was the story about how people are not reacting when too close to danger.
I couldn't help feeling already sorry for America....

You don't need to be a prophet to understand that this world is becoming more screwed up by the second. Pretty much the collapse of any major piece of infrastructure would spell doom upon us and our way of life. All it would take are a few well financed, intelligent individuals that truly have a goal of unleashing havoc to modern society.
