The way I understand the "birther" argument is that Obama was born in Kenya. But his parents/family are apparently so intelligent that they knew he would become the 44th President of the United States. So, in twists that are not even rivaled by the film "The Manchurian Candidate", they placed birth annoucements in the newspaper, launched one of the most intricate, longest, and most intelligent conspiracies ever, just so he can become President and enact center left economic policies (and the left part is dubious to say the least--Obama would be considered a right wing conservative in every other country in the world), for what reason, exactly?

Then, after we hear "show us the long form birth certificate" for months on end, it comes out, and then it's still not good enough?

In order to even make a sane argument regarding this situation, you'd have to provide motive, which, given the fact that Obama is pretty much a standard center-left politician (there are many more liberal Democratic politicians than him), what's the fracking point?

No ... that's what the anti-birthers claim that the birthers believe so that it will make them look absurd. What the birthers REALLY say is that Obama wasn't born in the USA and that he has claimed foreign citizenship at times during his life. They never said that it was a ploy from the first day to make him POTUS, but instead that his mother wanted him to be an American citizen so that he could get the American citizen perks .. much the same as illegals from Mexico want to get the perks of being in America. And during the times when he claimed foreign citizenship .. it was to get special perks from the US gov't for being a foreigner being in the USA ... like the claim with Occidental College and scholarships for foreigners, etc. It's all about the PERKS and benifits of being an American ... not about some ploy to make him POTUS from his birth.

Several experts who have declared the birth certificates fake.

Hard evidence that Obama has used a false social security number (probably more than one)

Hard evidence that Obama's home was purchased by dubious, possibly criminal means.

Evidence that Obama and Michelle are also using false names.

Evidence that Obama has dual nationality.

I've probably forgotten something.
