Reminds me of those Jurassic crustacean fossils. Can't remember what the species was called. Either CGI or one of those has learned how to fly.

I would like to read more comments from the witness, they didn't mention how it left their field of vision.was it obscured by buildings? Did it just zoom off? How thoroughly does Mufon check its witness for B.S.? I dont see any obvious signs of CG tampering but someone will have to analyze in Photoshop I guess

The witness made no mention of seeing anyone with strings, and the obvious motion of a kite is well..obvious..

It does look kinda like a crustacean, lol. At first glance I thought it was one of those spiky-backed spiders that I used to see all the time. The thing I don't like about ufo pictures such as this one is the fact that you cannot gauge the distance. And if you can't gauge the distance it is much more difficult to determine whether it is a hoax. So while some may say this is evidence, I say it's just a semi-cool picture that could possible be a ufo. Or a dinosaur or a spider.

I think I see a little bit of something hanging down from it, like a cord or string.

Another picture without enough detail to convince me.

Looks like the drones fromthe movie battle of los angeles. Cant find a good picture from google images but they have a flying drone in the movie that looks very similar.

You attack anyone who dares say anything that doesnt agree with you and what you personally think, it seems im not alone in seeing a string. This is ATS photos get debunked, live with it!

Ok I have an easy way to settle this. How about an alien balloon. This way everyone is happy.

Not sure what to think. A professional would have to analyze this for cgi. Since it does not look like a kite or balloon to me. But appearances can be deceiveing when objects are not close enough to discern fine details. Although this does have more detail than most. Which is all the more reason for proper analysis.

Lol, star for being a unique thinker!

"They may be chinese lanterns, but alien chinese lanterns from outer space!"

-- why dont we call it outer space anymore, it's now just normal space.

I miss the 1970's where we could watch 1940 movies and believe it was possible.. .

This is most likely a balloon, a string is visible below it:

I can replicate the second image, but not the third.

As long as you didn't add to the image to show the 'tail' then I think this adds greatly to the image.

How did you get the third frame?

Good work though!

Thanks, but the third frame was the second with only my add to show the tail, maybe I extrapolated a bit (especially at the end of the tail when it could be confused with the grainy background), but the tail is clearly visible nonetheless.

Well we have the witness name, but no EXIF data, and many other crucial facts are missing. We also need the original images straight off the camera. Without these, we can't rule out a cluster of balloons.
