My sighting Nov. 2010 Amsterdam Netherlands *PICS*

Nov. 20th 2010 4:15pm Amsterdam Netherlands facing N/NW in Leidseplein.

So as we were getting off a canal tour in Amsterdam I noticed a few objects hovering above the city. My perception, as well as those in my group, was that these were relatively distant objects.Their apparent diameters were that we could tell they were circular or spheriod. They did not look like point sources of light, definite structure was evident but faint w/the naked eye.

The dominant object closer to the light pole seemed to stay almost still, while there was another faint object approaching from the right. Both objects can be seen together on some of my pics, while H.L.'s pic is mostly just of the zoomed dominant object.

My camera was a dated Kodak 6MP, while one in my group (aka "H.F.") had an 10MP camera w/better optical zoom. My Kodak was maxed out optically. H.L.'s Canon PowerShot SD890 IS was also maxed optical zoom.

The light pole w/bird in the foreground (20' away?) help put things in perspective a bit. Here are mine in no particular order:

No idea as to what they were.... surveilence drones, domestic or foreign exotic flying craft, or classic UFOs be it "ours" or "theirs". Certainly didn't seem like balloons or lanterns, these were up pretty far and if they were ballons then they would've had a basket w/people under them they seemed that large I DO have video but it mostly blows. Some of it's relevent though but I still need to cut it down and upload it.

My first thought was balloon, it seems everyone is photographing balloons these days, then I thought it could be a star or planet but on your first pic there are two of them, one next to the lampost and one in the right corner.

How fast are they moving?

Well since you were in Amsterdam i bet you saw many things in the sky

You being from Amsterdam are probably whacked out of your gourd right now.
Let me help.
The first 3 are pictures of windmills, where they make wind.
The last 2 are photos of the sky, which doesn't really exist
because you can't touch it.
Glad to be of assistance dude.

BTW. ..Wish i was there. I'd be zonked out of my conch too.

This looks weird i'm not saying its photo-shopped but there is an almost box like appearance around the Object.

It looks like a plane when i enhanced the Contrast effect.

Quite interesting pictures. H.L.'s pics shows definite circular structure. Better than most orb pics/videos. If not balloons, then you got something here. Thank you for sharing.

Why does everyone think the Dutch are always stoned, like all Dutch are always stoned, I suppose they all use prostitutes too dont they and wear clogs and live in windmills.

And since when does getting stoned make lights appear in the skies?

He is Dutch, its busted as a hoax cos he is dutch and stoned and had a venereal disease and his clogs have scared the aliens away.

Don't even get me going on venereal desease. But i will say that it is the side effects from
this, moreso than being stoned all the time, that makes skies appear in the lights!

And how the hell can clogs scare away aliens? If anything it is probably the stoned diseased prossies
in clogs swinging from the windmills that attracted the aliens in the first place.

Here are H.F.'s cropped and enlarged. Photobucket lowers the quality when I upload so these will look better than the ones above when zoomed.... gotta see if there's a way around that. While cropping H.L.'s I noticed several small orbs in the shot too, so I need to get that up as well. These orbs or whatever were not visible when we took these pics.

As for motion, the one by the pole was motionless while the one from the right moved in then stopped.

A for effort, but just nothing to really get excited about.
