The decorated Marine reservist lurking in Arlington National Cemetery who prompted a bomb scare near the Pentagon on Friday morning has been determined not to be a public threat. Fort Myer police spotted and initially detained Yonathan Melaku, 22, of Alexandria, in the cemetery around 1:30 a.m., well past the normal closing time, the FBI said in a statement on the case. Melaku, a lance corporal in the Marine Corps reserves, was carrying a backpack that the FBI said “contained unknown materials which initially caused public safety concerns.”

Diane Sawyer, ABC News is calling him a "22 year old marine lance corporal" Though they did say he was an ethiopian-american.
Not muslim though.

I personally have not abused a chicken for quite some time. So I think I'm safe there.

I might stay up and watch CBS Nightly News as well. It's after 1 in the morning here, but what the heck. I'm going for 3, that's right, 3 networks that will not say the M-word.

Well, CBS didn't even feel that it should merit a story. I don't understand. A muslim terrorist attempts an attack (dry run or not) and it gets no airtime?

What is going on with the military? Aren't they checking people who are enlisting/joining our military? We're getting a deeper screen to step on an intra-COTUS flight.

It's easier to join the U.S. military as a foreigner, than it is for a U.S. citizen to hop a flight from Phoenix to San Diego these days. (TIC - kinda)

I wonder if a 'true' Muslim, you know the 'peaceful' kind the media says that follow 'true Islam', would think like this reservist or is he a 'true' Muslim?

It's already a known fact that the Koran says it's okay to lie and decieve for the forward progression of Islam and if everyone who is Muslim adheres to the teachings of the Koran, then it should be well within reason that they're all liars and decievers.

Do you have a quote from the Koran stating that? Islam is a peaceful religion in and of itself but add crazy to any religion and you have problems, just look at some christians.

Honestly I don't see how this marines religion matters, he is an american marine and a traitor. What matters beyond that?
