Subliminal message?

Moderators I'm not sure where to post this, but move it where it should be.

I just saw this new ad on yahoo.ca mail sign in page, and I thought of subliminal messages when I looked at the shapes on the right of the photo. Can anyone tell me this is not what I'm seeing? Its looks to me like a woman's Genitalia. Or maybe I got the wrong impression, check it out.

I think those are supposed to represent flower petals. Plus, why would they use a vajayjay to lure women to a product that only women use already?

I'm in advertising and I say yes, you are absolutely right!

But whoever created it went over the top imo. Subliminal messages are usually a bit more subtle.

Well i guess that campaign is successful enough since you picked it up. Remember people that subliminal messages are not always visible to everyone, they only require a small percentage for them to work and be successful.

It looks like tongues to me although I could see it being interpreted as female parts as well. It definitely is meant to be vaguely sexual. I don't think its subliminal though, because we're all noticing it and talking about it. Subliminal is meant to affect the subconscious, if we're consciously noticing it that means it isn't entirely subliminal.

There's much more efficient ways to plant ideas of sex. It's called MTV, Disney channel, Nickelodian, Fox, and pretty much anything on tv.

Excuse my rudeness but seeing that you have posted your alien breed in your avatar i do think you female aliens are uber hot, , just curious as to were you aliens go for honeymoon's , is earth like a hot spot for newly wed aliens ?

You see what you want to see. Period. And if this was subliminal advertising, which it is not, what product would you buy that has anything to do with Vaginal areas and Lipstick? I think of Fleshlight. But then, why would I even be paying attention to an ad about lipstick?

Its quite interesting I wasnt looking for it at all, just typing in my log in information and looking at the picture I was like NO WAY! Is this another one of those again? I checked out a website I think called subliminalmessages.com and they have enough there for me to remember what to look for. Sadly yes, I shouldnt know what female genitalia looks like, but its too late now
