Precious Moon Facts... Gone

Hello all

Some of you may remember a very interesting thread posted a couple of months ago entitled 'Strange Facts You (Probably) Never Knew About The Moon' by DontProbeMeBro

The reason i bring this up is because when i followed the link provided and read what was on offer, i was truley amazed at the amount of information given that pointed towards our Moon being some-what artificial or at least extreamly unique compared to the other moons out there.

Now, the link on that page is dead and for the past couple of weeks i have been trying to find my way back to that information. But every search i try brings me back to DontProbeMeBro's link which is really starting to frustrate me because all i want to do is enlighten a couple of friends with this info.

If anybody has any ideas why this is happening, other sources, or has prehaps saved what was contained on that website, i would be very gratefull if you could help a brother out and share this information

They do their best to keep the web purged of truth, I have found. I don't know a lot about mirror sites and archive sites, but I know such things exist. Maybe someone else knows more.

This type of removal is, in my opinion, part of the reason for the existence of sites like this
and organisations like wiki-leaks.
Sensitive locations are identified and then quickly dealt with and cut off,
Just more of their age-old yet continuing endeavours to keep the real truths of life
hidden from the unworthy sheep/slaves.

Those weren't facts, they were seriously misinformed opinions designed to intrigue those not very versed in astrophysics.

All you have to do is Google search strange fact you probably didn't know about the moon and you will get tens or hundreds of pseudo-science conspiracy sites saying the very same copy/paste list, (they don't like to research, just throw out ridiculous questions that get uninformed folks thinking, instead of researching, (because its more fun to spew out opinions instead of researching).

Well that should tell you something yes? Like it was a farce? Why would you want to find that page when it's copied everywhere, on 'those kinds of sites'.

If they are real friends do them a favor, and forget that crap.

Like I said, forget those sites and go to reputable science and astrophysics site and learn something.

Why do people so readily believe extraordinary opinions (without extraordinary support) before peer reviewed consensus of the fields of studies? Is reality that boring?

I saved all the PDF's from the site just in case they happen to turn into facts.

I recommened you do that from now on. I remember some real good video/auido clips as well as documentation that were removed from websites that in my personal opinion, i found were good food for thought.
So instead of thinking it will always be there, I download them. It might help you... it helped me.

The astronauts didnt hear a bell like sound?

This has always amazed me about our moon.

The Sun's distance from the Earth is about 400 times the Moon's distance, and the Sun's diameter is about 400 times the Moon's diameter. Because these ratios are approximately the same, the Sun and the Moon as seen from Earth appear to be approximately the same size

it depends on your definition of cavernous space...

bell like sound.. um no they haven't and there have been more than one mission around the moon.

I think you misunderstand the point

If the sun was a bit larger (or the moon a bit smaller), there would be no such thing as a full eclipse..the sun would ring around the moon

if the moon was a bit larger, an eclipse would last for hours verses just the minute or so it lasts...aka, it is, by perception, a remarkable coincidence of size to sun...

however, I reckon it simply is just a coincidence...after all, any speculation about why that is beyond concidence comes into some pretty wild and mind blowing alternatives involving either deitys or aliens...
