I swear PMS is one of the MOST out of control helpless feelings a person can possibly have!! I WISH I didn't get it, cause when I do, all I can think about is crawling in a hole and staying there.. it SUCKS! It's a horrible thing to not be in control of your mind and/or mouth. It definitely doesn't feel good to blurt out something that you know the second you say it, is going to quite possibly make them feel like crap.
So far so good on my husband for putting up with it, cause really, for the rest of the month I'm a pretty cheerful easy to get along with chick! I give him fair warning to feel free to just stay away ... lol
I HATE it, it SUCKS..I
I think the OP is an i***t, whether he's serious, or just trying to rile the ladies. I wish I was able to reach through and grab his neck Homer Simpson style at the moment.. (YES, I'm in the throes of PMS)

Im gonna derail this thread a little.. and Im not overly concerned.. but this is an issue for my SIL... she has confirmed hormonal issues.. confirmed with a thyroid test and yrs of irregularity, etc. They put her on a normal low dose BC pill... and lemme tell you, it was night and day for her ( and everyone around her as well).
There are serious cases of PMS and PMDD... but it irks me that every woman out there with a cramp thinks the world has stopped revolving around them. It kind of takes away from the seriousness of a true hormonal imbalance that effects the person so deeply. In real instances of it.. its life changing and effects relationships. These days with all the hormones in food and phytoestrogens here and there.. its a wonder women have functioning ovaries at all.

I actually can't believe what I just read. I am truly speechless. The only words that come to mind are IGNORANCE and a very huge lack of RESPECT.

Im a woman and I agree the PMS excuse is many times just that, an excuse. However, I really feel sorry for the women in your life.

LOL!
At least I REALLY hope so, for your sake.
Otherwise, you are obviously not married, or have no long term relationships?
Or you really need to talk to an OB/GYN for about 5 minutes, to learn the truth.

I personally beg to differ (I'm a woman I have to lol).
On a more serious note, honnestly it really does exsist. I remember reading an article many years back in a tabloid magazine, and it went through the mental stages women go through leading up to the big "P" day, and I have to say I couldn't debunk it, its true.
On point which really stood out, was that in the few days before menstruation begins, women feel the need to "treat" themsleves, whether it be chocolate, or a new laptop, and omg did I see myself in that.
Plus at least three retail employees in different shops will tell you the week before my last (insert whatever you feel applicable here), that I was taking no prisoners when I had some items to return.
Although I would say the test of time my symptoms have eased somewhat they are still there, and its arwful when you find yourself crying at something ordinarily you wouldn't bat an eyelid to (this usually occurs in the 24 hours before onset of you know what)
PMS ?

The curse is now upon you - you shall be born a female in your next life to pay retribution for the major offense you've just committed against all women.

I am all too aware that women PMS.. Much to aware, My girly gets it really bad, and a lot of the time (being the man i am) we end up getting into it (because i hate being told "shut up, dont talk to me, etc"). But its something that every man will have to deal with at some point, and every woman has to deal with every month. Myth? I wish it was, but it really isn't. Haha.

I explained to him it is all a myth, passed down from woman to woman, it is a mind thing, it is not true…do not believe it. He even told me that for 4 days she does not even cook, loll, ‘What a loser friend I have’.
...PMS affects different women different ways, I personally haven't pulled the I can't do xyz because of it but I do have friends who have. It wasn't a myth or a lie they were curled up in a ball on the bed crying because they were in pain and the painkillers they took weren't working.
The wife doesn't cook for 4 days, so what? What he can't make himself a meal? He doesn't know how to make a sandwich or take the opportunity to grill something? Granted if she's staying at home all day it takes about 10 min to throw something in the crockpot and have it cook all day but still if he's not 5 years old or younger he can make a few meals for himself...in fact I think most 5 year olds can make pb&j or ham/turkey/coldcut & cheese.
After a couple of more things I said about him and his wife, we are no longer friends
Good for him, if a friend came over upset and all I did was insult them and the ones they loved I wouldn't blame them for ditching me. Sounds like you need to work on your people skills.
I hate sensitive people around me any way, especial a man that cant control his girl.

just suck it up, do what you are told and that’s that.
I didn't realize women were like pets and slaves that you can control. I'll have to pass this along to my husband so he knows he has to work and be the only income provider so I can stay at home all day.
‘I’m not in the mood right now’
Legitimate excuse, you can't service yourself every once in a while? Do you drop everything your doing to put out for your girl if you can even get one with that attitude? If you were watching some playoff game or tv show that you enjoy or you were sick and felt bad and she wanted to get it on would you still perform?
its bad enough when I am eating dinner, I have to see a tampax bloody commercial every 3 minutes.’ mental picture’ GAG!
You watch tv during dinner instead of have a conversation with your family? That's sad, really I'm pitying you right now.
I'm not thrilled about the feminine product commercials either, they're really not on too much though. Unless you're watching something like the WE , lifetime or similar channels. I think I'm more annoyed by the flood of really loud male enhancement and helper pill commercials out there and about feminine products though.
So you live with 6 women....are you living at home with your parents? If you don't like it, I'm sure they wouldn't be too upset if you moved out. If they're bleeding all over the place though they should try the Mirena IUD, fantastic little thing that can lessen or even keep you from having a period. Downside is it hurts like a *$ when it's inserted and if your health insurance isn't fantastic it can be pricy.
