I googled around a bit, couldn't find what happened to this fool... Maybe she moved to isreal to escape the ridicule? She should have been prosecuted the same as a skinhead would of.

Of course everybody has a right to express indignation - I don't want any more censorship on here than there is. But we're talking about the actions of an individual, and what this thread is cursed with is the 'all Jews do this', 'all Jews take advantage', 'Jews lie about the Holocaust', and that's the point when the posters involved tip over from talking about - and being indignant about - an individual, to ignoring whatever motive that individual had, be it bad or just plain crazy, to saying she did what she did because that's what her race does.

That looks like racism, and race hate, and if it isn't, quite, then it's somewhere well beyond crude and lazy.


Just to update - it seems as though the young woman was dealt with by the student judicial system, and that there may have been good reasons to think that this was much less than terrorism. Looking at the right-wing media (often a useful source), it seems as if this story, and others like it, are revived regularly. This time round it might well have started with the influential 'Stormfront'.

Thanks, TKDRL. I agree, she should have been prosecuted... but we'll probably never know.

At the boarding school I attended a Jewish student was caught doing this solely to have someone he didn't like be kicked out. Find out soon, many witnesses saw him do it, sadly he only received a slap on the wrist type punishment. Luckily, they take investigations very seriously and never went after the supposed guilty party thankfully to their desire to get the facts straight. After a few days, people came forward, figured out it was victim himself.

I was quoting from earlier posts to show how creepy some of these responses have been! Not my thoughts at all, I assure you.

I don't care what happens to her, to be honest. I just hope people wake up and realize stupid # like this actually happens and to keep it in mind when investigating crimes like this. If somebody's dumb enough to pull something like this, I hate to wonder how many false rape stories are fabricated...

There is no such thing as a distinct classification called "hate crimes". It's not even logical either.

There are some things that are Crimes.
There are some things that are Not Crimes.

If you commit any "Crime" against me, I will think you must "Hate" me.

Therefore "Crimes" from the victims perspective, would appear rather hateful.

The difference is actually the target.

If I decide to beat the crap out of you with a baseball bat, then odds are it's because I dislike you personally. it's between you and I. Clearly I am a danger to you and this attack should not be at all tolerated.

However, if I come at you with the bat, screaming about whatever race or whatever you happen to be, then it's not specifically you I'm targeting. It could just as easily be anyone who's part of the same group as you. I am of course a clear danger to you, but because my targeting is aimed at just about anyone who fits your race, I am also a danger to that group of people as well.

Do you believe that there should be a legal difference between targeting an individual, and targeting the individual and the community to which they belong?

This is just mind numbingly disgusting. My brain's just cooking in disgust at this little brat.. We all need to get over sympathy for the Jews. To get over the past. It's been roughly 40 years now. We, as a society, have to move on instead of being burdened down at the next person thinking what is said or written to them is racist.

We need to teach them to pick up their little purses, dust themselves off, and get on with Life rather then being drama princesses.

Simply put, this was a hate crime.

If a "goy" got caught doing the same thing, there would be jail involved.
