Go to your media page (same as "my photos").

Then, look at the top right hand side of the screen. There are 7 lines under the ATS News link.

Maybe everyone has seen these slogans/hints/advice, but I've never even noticed it. "deny ignorance" of course, but the rest?

The 3rd one kinda makes me go
~

- question the paradigm
- inform the uninformed
- trust the crowd wisdom ??
- challenge your beliefs
- embrace alternate viewpoints
- demand the truth
- deny ignorance

You're just paranoid, there are no subliminal messages on ATS or anywhere else for that matter.

Now go back to sleep and everything will feel better in the morning.

I dont know. It does seem like a strange thing to say, considering this is a conspiracy website, and I can't seem to think of a reason they would say that, other than possibly a subliminal message.

If the wisdom of the crowd were truth we wouldn't need this site, would we?
In that context I suppose common knowledge is what you get from FOX.

Signals...I've said it before and I'll say it again. You come out with the strangest threads and they are all brilliant !!!

I had never even noticed...wow. I googled "can you trust crown wisdom" and looked at the very first link...technologyreview.com...from well...mit microsoft

After reading it, I think it would refer to our star giving system. Like many other reviews out there on the net, starring an article or a product is an indication of quality. The more stars, the better it is.

And I do hope that you get TONS of stars for this one !!

Excellent find !!

WTH does that even mean Trust the Crowd Wisdom, it's not a correct sentence. It's not correct english. I know that all the lines aren't really sentences but this one is ambiguous to say the least.
I got this:
trust the crowd wisdom
So we should trust the stars awarded to posters?

Ahh.. wisdom of the crowd.. reminds me of the 2007 event in NYC..

there was a very fun puzzle game associated with it.. and the theme was Guy Fawkes

Remember the 5th of November...

I did find the thread where SO described the events of the day...

Dear Signals

The election of Bush sure proved that theory wrong twice. I am referring to the wisdom of the crowd.

Nice find.

Trust the Crowd wisdom? In other words, make sure that you remain one of the sheeple and follow the flock.

I've always found it interesting that the Christian Church refers openly to parishoners as their "flock" while the average Christian is blind to the fact that they are being led around by the nose by people very talented in fleecing them financially, emotionally, and in many other ways. Flock and Fleecing are terms very appropro to the average Christian. So are the symbols of "the lamb" which is a recurring theme throughout Christianity.

If you trust in the crowd wisdom, you don't question the crowd. Saying you're awake just because you're part of the crowd on ATS doesn't mean you're awake at all. You've simply replaced the herders known as CNN, FOX, ABC, NBC, CBS with the herders known as Alex Jones, Jesse Ventura, David Icke, and the like.

Until you start doing your own research and coming up with your own links and theories you will truly never be awake, you will just be part of a different flock, part of another team.

Dear babybunnies

One can forgive the first election as they didn’t know.

However the second election I consider to be a very sad reflection on the American public.

Trust the crowd wisdom?
I think not! This is obviously promoting a hive mentality.

First, what group are we talking about? Second, nobody tells me who or what to trust.

To make myself clear, I avoid identifying myself with any and all groups in order to avoid being hoodwinked and coerced into believing something that I wouldn't normally stand by.

Well said.

IMO Jones, Icke et al do a good job in getting people to see the other side, but with too many people these alternative news personalities are a final destination instead of a waypoint. A mole (I'm thinking about my ol' buddy Alex Jones specifically here) is dangerous precisely because he provides truthful information to build credibility, and then lies and disrupts when the lies and disruption can do the most damage.

The alternative news is just as bad, if not worse, than the mainstream news.

It's best to trust no one, including ATS. Really, that was a very stupid quote for them to put up there. What was going through their heads when they did that?
