HAHAHAH!! Okay, I'm sorry, I just couldn't resist.

LMAO

What you really meant to say was how Haarp is having such an impact on solar activity

I too coudn't resist

Yeah well, HAARP (who is run by the reptilian NWO) is controlling Elenin so it's all tied in together.

Just waiting patiently for the big announcement.

I know right? The last time they told us they had something big to announce, they hmmmm'ed and hawwww'd over it for over an hour and a half (which tells the conspiracy theorist in me that they changed what they were really going to announce). I wish they would just spit it out already. If we're gonna get wiped out in a collision with another planet, major solar flare, or a goat farting on the other side of the planet that knocks us out of orbit
tell us! Course me thinks it's another bait and switch...nothing to see folks, it's not as bad as we originally thought, everything is going to be ok, just believe in your leaders, they have nothing but your best interest at heart
. This has definitely aroused my curiousity can't wait till 1.

Anxiously awaiting the announcement

hour.

You aren't thinking it through.

If something BIG were going to happen NASA would not be announcing
anything it would come from the government in an official announcement.

NASA will never be the ones to release any Earth shattering news.

3 more minutes till announcement but I have looked everywhere for a live-feed. Not even NASA TV is covering it, can't be that big eh?

Yes, but it's not from NASA, it's from the American Astronomical Society.

This announcement is no where mentioned on the American Astronomical Society website. Searches with the keywords june 14th 2011 annoucement only turn up sites like ATS or videos on ewetube.

This does perk my interest, however I seriously doubt that some "Ah-Haaa" moment will come of it. As much as we all want just a scrap of honesty from anybody "in charge", begging, pleading and speculation only leads them to fabricate the same disinformation as always. I will be keeping an eye on this, but the probability of gleaning anything useful from it is slim to none. I would love to be wrong.

Gonna call this viral B.S. unless someone can pull up an original source with the American Astronomical Society.

The sources are credible enough.
There's still 40 minutes left, anyhow. It hasn't started yet.

ETA: And, even then, it'll probably be significantly delayed, like most "major" announcements.

Yes, it has started. I am in EST. It's scheduled at 1700gmt, which is 12pm EST is it not? And just because space.com is cited doesn't make it credible.

Why is it that people tend to discount everything scientists say that does not support the end of the world?

Why is it that these same people hang on every "announcement" from the same scientists, eagerly awaiting their beliefs to be validated by them?

Why is it that these same people cry "cover up!" when those announcements are all just boring sciencey stuff?

My bet is that there will be a new consensus announcement that solar maximum will occur in mid to late 2013 and will have a lower than average sunspot number.

COVER UP!!!!!!

Don't pop everyone's doomer bubble!

As one that watches the sun everyday - I look forward to any new discovery or research that they learn about our fabuolous Sun, the sustainer of life!
