On health care for illegals, he came across as not wanting to treat people that cannot pay. At least to me, this is a very important issue to me, if he truly feels that way, he is denying his Hippocratic oath. Not that he fumbled it bad, but stuttered over an answer. The borders need to be protected, I agree, but Gingrich came across as a major bigot.

lol Romney had no idea what to say on the imminent domain issue, so he repeated what Paul said. I would bet a hundred bucks he has supported taking private property to give to other more wealthy groups of people.

Yes there is a correct answer, absolutely they should get care. The 5 YO has done nothing wrong. Do you have no compassion?

Edited to add, yes it was a low question, but a Dr. should be able to answer that with no hesitation, the hesitation to me indicated he is trying to match someones agenda.

Yea, that question about the 5 year old was the last straw for me. This fool keeps trying to get a gotcha moment and its getting pretty old.

I have turned off the debate and turned on Master chef so that I can see Ramsey humiliate people.

I stand very much corrected.

Let me rephrase:

Is there a politacally correct answer to that question?

The line of questioning is suspect,at best. Being a man that brought 4000 babies into the world, and probably even some illegal, being Texas as his State,The questioning comes with a double edge sword.

There isn't a right answer because he has come out as a staunch boarder protector. Now if he says illegals should be seen in an emergency and the taxpayers pay their bills then he sounds soft on the issue.

That stupid hypothetical question was nothing but a trap to make him look bad no matter how he answered.

Figured I would add this into the thread...

Freedom Watch with the Judge...

Subject = Gary Johnson On Why CNN Banned Him From Republican Debates

Watching this between breaks... but basically for his views on the economy etc

j-man, I popped off an answer quickly, and have now edited it. It was a low question, however, I believe, a medical Dr. should not have hesitated or stuttered over an answer, he was trying to meet an agenda that he is expected to meet.

Its about the constitution with RP. If it doesnt fit THAT agenda, then its a wrong agenda.Thats HIS AGENDA. Keeping to strict constitutional guidelines. Nothing wrong there. I applaud it.

To all in the thread. I do apologize for the slam against Dr. Paul, please see my edit, there was no "politically" correct answer to this question. There was only a correct answer to this question coming from a medical Dr. I felt like Dr. Paul fumbled this one as a MD and a human being. But this is only my opinion.

He has taken another oath as well, and that one crosses constitutional lines. Our Dr's are required to care for enemy prisoners in the time of war, they do not have a choice based on the Hippocratic oath they have taken. Sorry this one is an important issue to me.

All good brother. Your opinion actually made me think about it more, and no one is 100% right, not even Dr.Paul.

No worries, atleast you have seen the error in your thinking. Now imagine the millions.........wait this is cnn, imagine the hundreds watching who came to the same conclusion and now have a bad taste in their mouths all because of a dumbass loaded question with no right answer.

He probably did fumble it. No worries. I have followed RP for at least 5 years and he sometimes fumbles a question, because he really tries to answer the question and not just say a simple phrase. He tries to explain why he has his opinion. If you listen to his previous positions on right to life he is totally in favor of right to life. However, he does not want to place his personal and moral beliefs on others, so he goes to the constitution for the answer.

No,I think he would do what needs to be done, like saving a life. I am not a doctor,or a fireman, but if I had to rush into a building,to save a life,at risk to myself,I would do it.No oath, just being a real human being. Do some homework on the man. You might see him for what he really is. An average Joe.

I don't think he fumbled it he said the questions is a lie - you don't have to be evil to have an immigration policy.

Gary Johnson is an amazing guy when you hear him speak and has done some amazing things in his life. He is a succesful business man and a predictable politician when it comes to where he stands.

Too bad he will get the shaft from the MSM

surely wished I could have watched the
debates but I am too poor to have TV
reception. Since they switched
everything over to digital, some
folks got left out. I am not paying
for free TV. They make money
on advertising, not from me.
Matter of fact, I haven't watched
TV on a regular basis since 2008.
