Number 11 in 2011 anomaly

Mods I apologize if I've posted this in the wrong forum.

There are some very bizarre anomalies with the number 11 this year. Here's one: add the last two digits of the year you were born to the age that you will be this year. Did you get 11 or 111? Everyone I know that has done it has. Does anyone have an educated explanation? This blew my mind.

Answer is so simply to understood ..
In 2012 you have no. 112 ..xD
1900+112=2012
Born 1950 to 2012 = 62 + 50 = 112

its because youre adding up the years between 1900 and 2011.
next year will be 112 then 113 114 etc. if you take the yr u were born and add it to your age u turn sometime this year, u will also get 2011. its nothing magical, although personall i too believe 111 has great significant in our universe over 110 and 112, etc
