Wow really we need that many for a mid sized site. No we do not you are all just free labor.

The owners of this site have sold out. They edit anything that will offend the ad income. They only want to make money, they do not care about the truth or sharing thoughts and ideas freely.

So flame on idc, this will probably get removed as to not offend any ad base.

This site was supposed to be about sharing info on CT and alternitive thought, but now its about attracting the most traffic while controlling all posts.

So if you say a bad word or bring up somehting that relates but goes into a diff subject it get deleted.

If a thread is made on a intresting subject then another then another you have 5 different mods not communicating at all in any way closing threads and directing them to a thread that another mod just closed and directed to the other closed thread, happens alot look through your own records.

This site has became a huge pile of rubbish, heavily moderated by way too many people that think they are right.

So yeah be soooo proud of your mod status, you wasted so much time here your seen as free labor and underthere controll.

Feel soooo proud of deleteing anythign you dont like or agree with.

I am sure im not the only one that ends up ignoring a post if it is from a "mod".



So point is the owners sold out, they want money not the truth on anything. And they prove this by all the free labor and the wiping of most posts.

The only thing they censor is pointless debate that takes good discussions of CTs and alternative news off-topic. I'm not exactly seeing where the owners are going for money over the truth.........

I know this first-hand. I mean, really, I don't understand what the deal is with the staff here. A power trip, perhaps? And indeed: free speech is not highly valued here.

They are trying to promote a healthy image. This site gets allot of traffic, and conspiracy theorist take allot of flack for their opinions. If you were running one of the top C.T. forums on the net wouldn't you want to promote a proper image, one where all people regardless of age, religion, race, etc. can come together and share their feelings w/o being harassed by a bunch of immature Troll's?
The last thing we need in this community is some raving lunatic sounding off and making everyone look bad.

*With that said, I do agree there are certain "topics," that are immediately deleted and frowned upon, that truly should not be. But that is few and far between, I am willing to put my differences aside to enjoy the great content this site has to provide.

The site isn't a sellout as just a few months ago they did a poll asking the community if we were okay with them using more ads to make money that the Government made harder for them to make.

So, our dreams are crushed, our fantasies flushed?

Personally I dont think there is anywhere near enough moderation.
ATS used to be a CT site, now its just another of those "look at this cool thing I found on the internet" sites.
Threads on chalk drawings, dreams, religious beliefs, dating, and assorted "look at these fantastic photos" threads seems to be the norm nowdays. If I was dictator of ATS, I'd delete them all and get back to the core reason this place exists.

I tell you what, it really chaps my [snip] that no one is allowed to use curse words on here. Don't get me wrong. You should not be allowed to call someone derogatory names or anything like that or just blatantly post curse words. But, using these words in an exclamatory way should be allowed. For[snip]sake too many posts go down the memory hole just because of a few choice words.

they did a survey to get more info on you to sell the ads more expensive

ats owner know no values and rate their success not from the quality of content but from the quantity of ad revenue

hence since ats is in facebook bed; ad revenues is up, quality is down : ats has become mainstream in many aspects.

deny ignorance ? a product and solely an opportunist product, not a philosophy, certainly not an idea they would fight or risk anything for.

there was a market they took it. the worst of the ats story is that this would still be the best case scenario.

very naive to think they could have spirit; dangerous even.

There is only so much to say about 9-11 when was the last time some new info came out about it. Well anyways the website was doomed to expand, it had more intellegint post than most, it deffently looked the best, and most of the things you said you wouldn't want were taking place back in those days just on a much smaller scale as there was a much bigger conspiracy to talk about.

So, according to the opening post there are around 70 Moderators, with half being super mods.

There are around just under 100 forum boards on ATS, this forum is posted on 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and there are less moderators than there are boards.

Count the forum topics here if you wish

Looking at the facts, I would actually say that it might be understaffed as opposed to overly restrictive, given the amount of forum topics and the volume of posts on this site too.

So many NOOBS who think they have been around long enough to have an opinion about how the site runs comparing "then and now".

If you don't like it, just go away and stop whining.

If you don't go away then there is somthing here for you that costs you nothing. Live with it or don't.

My main most recent issue with the people who make the decisions concering this site, is that they have reduced the top 2 threads from the front page to just 1 thread, (and yes I am shouting for this part "JUST SO THEY CAN PUSH 1 MORE LOUSY ADVERT ON US!"

I think they must have become greedy in their success, to allow more adverts and less threadspace, especially on the beloved front page thread shortlist, what a joke!

I think they should not allow adverts at all on this site, the very nature of them means that they are willing to sacrifice the truth, and denying ignorance, for a quick link-through buck from another website or entity. How far will they be willing to go for the money now that they have taken their first steps to becoming owned, and part of the very untrustworthy system we are here to truth about.
