Just curious, is this a common practice? Did somebody hear of this tactic, or suspects that falsely accusing a truther as an antisemite is something that has been done in the past by debunker's and not just in isolated cases, but quite frequently?

doyoueverwonderblog.wordpress.com...

DU’s Boloboffin caught using fake evidence to slander Richard Gage, the founding member of ae911Truth.org.

FYI Richard Gage is the founder of A&Efor911truth.

Not sure. But I do remember this incident from the Holocaust Museum Shooting. They were forcing it damn hard to tie in the shooter to the 911 truth movement:

Glen Beck Uses Shooting At Holocaust Museum To Smear And Lie About 911 Truthers

The big stuff starts at 2:30 and there is a little blurb around the 1:10 mark where he puts truthers on the same line as white supremacists. But the big rant starts at 2:30.

I also understand that when the shooting took place, the media was instructed to really ram home the fact the shooter was a truther.

Interesting. However how Glenn Back passes for anything but a satirist baffles me. Maybe he did not want to seriously imply truthers are antisemites, but merely display the tactics 911 deniers use.

I would prefer a fair and balanced presentation of opinions. This is not about slandering truthers. You are in the no spin zone. Only providing information to the extend you can counts.

I agree no spin would be good
spin is the mindkiller

I think, but he did broach stuff
and for discerning viewers who check multiple sources...
being ispired to look for themselves is a good thing
GB is IMHO infotainment
but he did have a huge market share for a time
and he is a classic example of what Mashall Mcluhan (sp?) said
"the medium IS the message"
which describes "spin" well too

I think if one broadens the catagory that the term "antisemitism" is part of
ie - "demonization" or " labelization"
it is easier to examine as a key tactic

like
the incubator story in iraq
the false statements attached to Amahjinadad re off the map etc
hitlers jig when paris fell ( an admitted BBC edit )
the Lybian Viagra story
the peace flotilla humanitarians as provacatures
the North korean torpedo that wasn't...
conspiracy theorist
etc
all common as dirt

I truly think he was reporting what he was told. And what he was told, was to really ram home the point the shooter was a truther.

Other MSM sources made the same connection as well:

Holoca ust Museum shooter von Brunn a 9/11 'truther' who hated 'neo-cons', Bush, McCain

Just google 'James von Brunn truther' or 'holocaust museum shooter truther.' And other should come up.

Accusing people of all kinds of slimy things is how people avoid dealing directly with the facts presented.

Israel was created by the US some 60 yrs ago for a strategic point in the middle east whilst obliterating Palestine (Jesus Christ was born in Palestine) and empowering Jews worldwide. Nazis exterminated Jews. NWO exterminates muslims. One tribe, two wings.

Oh, and for the record, I don't think there is any direct correlation between truthers and antisemitism. I'm also not sure if it is common practice to accuse truthers of such.

I just remember that incident with Beck and the shooter. But I bet that was more of the media/government taking advantage of the situation to demonize truthers than it was an intention to permanently connect the two.

Yes I get what you say. But if they use somebody like Glenn Beck its like, they are not even trying anymore. As if they know deep down (or not so deep down) that the only people that will take their propaganda seriously are not that smart to begin with, so why even dignify them with effort.

It's a common confusion due to a logical fallacy.

All Truthers are mentally ill.
Many mentally ill people are anti-semites.

but it is a logical fallacy to conclude from this fact that all Truthers are anti-semites.

So, we debunkers should not accuse truthers of anti-semitism, unless they display some indicative behavior, such as starting numerous threads about jews in the 9/11 forums, defensiveness about being an anti-semite, or etc.

Unfortunately this seems to be one of those threads.

Just buy a "Jews Did 9/11" T shirt, and get it over with.

Unfortunately yes it is a very common thing to call the antisemite card into play on alot of "conspiracy theory".
I think this is very counter productive and diverts from the real truth.
It is israelis and not jews that should be talked about.
I have better questions, why are the israelis at the center of most "conspiracy theories"?
And why does the better portion of the world want them erased off the face of the planet?
I am not anti semite, but I am definately anti israel.
Remember the USS Liberty!

Oh for the love of FSM.

There is a very valid reason for accusing truthers of antisemitism, especielly when they seem very eager to tie any and all pieces of evidence to Israel.

Especially the OP seems to have very low standards, when it comes to "evidence" that attempts to turn Israel into being behind the 9/11 attacks.

So by your logic, Americans who find fault with America or the CIA are Anti-American or Anti-White men, or non Americans for that matter. Compelling logic the 911 deniers display indeed . For the record, it isnt MY evidence and nobody is trying to tie anything to anybody. I present the material, put it up for discussion and it is what it is. Is it my fault that the voice on the recording of flight 11 is that of an an native Hebrew speaker as multiple persons confirmed? Are they antisemites too?

From what I observed and what I concluded from my own research YES ! calling people antisemites IS a common tactic used by 911 deniers, especially if jewish people, or elements within Israel are implicated, their argument being somebody who follows the evidence to a jew or to Mossad, hates all jews, which is simply not true. Neither do I believe only jews or only Mossad was involved, based on the material presented by other people as well.

It is either a mental illness on the debunkers part, something that has become a popular tactic among the debunkers, or simply grasping at straws when they see no way to debate the material presented in a way they deem desirable to whatever E-War they perceive themselves on being on.

911 denier: What time is it?

Truther: its 10 am

911 denier YOU ANTISEMITE AAAARRRGGHH

Truther:

Yes it is your fault that you posted a poor recording lasting a few seconds of someone speaking something other than their native tongue and without any background in linguistics or forensic analysis postulated, without any factual basis, that the native tongue of the speaker in question was Hebrew, the native language of only one nation on Earth, Israel. No one else confirmed that postualtion, they simply got in line to agree with the ridiculous proposition and yes, they are also anti-Semites.

Erh, no.

People who blame America for something America clearly had nothing to do with, such as, say, the recent e.coli outbreak in Northern Europe, those I would call people with a weird and obsessive focus on blaming America.

As Hooper has already pointed out, there is no basis for claiming that the voice of Mohammed Atta was in fact someone speakingHebrew, yet here you are, claiming that it is.

Roboe, you need to read the thread. It isnt what I said, its what a site I linked to said. I put the topic up for discussion. Everybody is free to draw their own conclusions based on the material presented. If you think that is antismitism, you spent too much time on those damn fool debunking sites, which charge everyone and everybody of antisemitism. See the opening post in this thread for reference.

Wooow Hooper against the woorld antisemites everywhere, run hooper run.

Why should I run?

They are all after you. All out to get you.

Why would they be after me? I don't understand. Are you assuming that I am Jewish?

You are probably right. You must be indeed the last sane person left.

Well if the population is reduced to you and I, you would be correct. Let me ask you - do you think there are people out there that are anti-Semitic? Or is that just a myth?

In your world the state attorney is the truel villain, but I guess only if a jew is on the accused stand

OK, I really don't get that one. By the way, the J in Jews should be capitalized.
