Unhappyness all around

Is it me or are people around you becoming more hostile and unhappy...I chalk it up to the economy...People having to live together ...or not having money,maybe chem-trails,drugs everyone is taking ,fluoride in the water...
Who knows what it is?
People are just becoming crazy around here...Fighting like its a sport ...Unhappy like they need to jump off a bridge.(by the way not me...People in my town)

Nope things have been pretty normal around here.

I'm guessing that will change drastically if the NFL lockout doesn't get figured out before the season is supposed to start though.

I haven't noticed any deviation from the norm...Things have been going pretty well in my opinion. Could be better, but definitely not noticing any increase in hostilities, etc. I have found, and this is for me, that viewing ATS multiple times daily has turned me, unwillingly, into a cynic. So one must be careful when reading a lot of dark, draining content because it can possibly start to affect one's worldview. Just a possibility I thought I would throw out there.

I've noticed an abundance of assholes of late. Some people just got to take their problems out on everyone else, even complete strangers. But it will all come back to them ten fold, sooner or later.

i feel polarization is happening in both directions. Though, not a forced type thing, more being pushed along the paths that we already travel..

The causes for such movement could be many.. Anything from lack of social skills imbued by digital social networking, more "bad" reports on the news, or even an electromagnetic or sonic force that is affecting attitude.

i agree that it is happening though, it was actually on ATS that i noticed it first.

Personally, I don't think that hostility and unhappiness are completely related. They may be for some people, but not for all. Just because one is unhappy, does not mean that they will be hostile.

I see it in our town in central Texas. I myself am in an unhappy state of mind where I used to could shake off the bad. It is overwhelming to me. I find myself crying almost daily.
The crime rate here has shot up...every day there are several robberies and at least once a week there is murder.

Well, I have managed to push my own "doomy and gloomy" attitude aside this Spring as my Avatar had puppies!

Having puppies around is like having a smile machine that you can plug into at any time! I also am isolated from others (the entire world) and so during the "homing" period I got to meet new people and put smiles on their faces as well.

I also have good news that I get to visit a young newlywed couple tomorrow with a puppy in hand! How exciting! Lots of smiles are sure to come! Red-pup has finally found a home!

Once this part is over I can finally get back to being a Doomer, but I am keeping one puppy just in case!

The question for me is, "is the world getting better or not"?

Some more new ager type stuff say the world is becoming a better place, and all these robberies/etc. you hear about are in fact, due to people becoming better people.

Or maybe robberies are y'know, robberies, and it signals degeneration...

I wonder if these people campaigning around preaching greatness are really CIA mind controlled, delusional, or just screwing around... and in the end, we were tricked, this is how they did it (they had to fool enough people after all)

And then history repeats. They win again, good thing people didn't care/don't know true history enough eh? After all the real plan fools everyone enough... right? Why did we not be able to live under lack of tyranny before? Because the Mayan calander cycles didn't progress far enough?

Well, just felt like saying that. I'd like to believe that things like internet help, that people were only crazy due to lack of information, etc. I just wonder how people got fooled so many times in the past, with the 5000 revolutions and stuff in the past. ...Oh right, its the mayan waves again, we sucked back then but this time, its the 9th final wave, we will surely live THIS time...!!!

Well thats enough of that. One thing is, to understand reality. A community is made of its people. So if we care enough... the combination thereof means a better place.

And if the people who are saying the world would get better are true, then my bad. At any rate, this is sort of like my opinion on all these conspiracy forums, and what I find from it.

Of course it's getting better! The lies are being exposed every where and as far as public bullying goes here in Colorado Springs YOU WILL be palpated if I or any other former soldier catch you.
Others we just smile and say hello as they run from the scary man,Kind of embarrassing but it actually does happen.

Well, the truth be told, we are all up the creek without a paddle (old saying I know, but I cannot cuss in here)

Seriously, we are in the biggest mess of the Millennium and we may not make it! Time to grab up all the goodness you can because it is going to be a "Hell" of a ride! Especially if you are rich!

As for me, well, I am almost done giving all my most prized possessions away! I have given my most cherished things to others just so I can see their faces light up! I am so pleased to please that I am even more pleased than anyone would imagine.

Tomorrow, after I visit to give away the last puppy to go, I have a couple coming over to visit about clearing some brush for me! Wow, what a God-send! I saw an ad on Craigslist here locally from a young man who is in need of a welding machine; I just happened to have a Miller Tig Welder (never used) with all the components. I contacted him and it just so happens he owns a business clearing brush and I just happen to be on 100 acres and I cannot figure out how to get the back lot cleared on my own (old age of course). Even if he only clears half of it I will be happy, so upon his visit I am going to just hand over the unit without anything in return other than his word. I won't be disappointed either way!

The reason I am opening in this manner is because I really do see it for as bad as it is really going to be! Like the video of the military boys who have to describe the "Drop Guns", my heart knows the truth enough to see the same thing happening here! Same thing! I hear them say "Iraqis" but I am not hearing them say "humans". They have to be detached, of course they do, but they are suffering and life is suffering!

I know, I am ranting, but there is a solution in face of fear! No one can take away your inner Happiness that you yourself can generate by simply giving of yourself! At this point I will be Happy when it is over! LOL
