China not the U.S. will colonize Moon and Mars

I wont be around to watch, but it makes absolute since that a nation with near 2 billion people would be looking for room to grow in the next 50 to 100 years.

With the U.S. overly occupied and blowing its national treasure on war for the next few decades that leaves room for China's space program to boom. They have a larger pool of people to build and grow knowledge from also. China may one day become the one world power as well.

It gives me new hope for survival of man, even if its not my own country or race that will survive earth, it is nice to forsee that at least some Nation will take mankind into the stars.

chinese are not crazy vegetables from horror movies who only think where can they grow and grow and grow...

besides that they have russian fields much more closer

I am so tired of the race, the ones that have to be first, tired of keeping up with the Jones's.

In my perfect world, it would be an effort from all to come to means to tackle the task. If for one minute the world could look past the diffrences in the way of thinking, or color, or creed. They could acomplish anything.
None would be hungry. How long are we going to HATE? We have been doing it for far to long. Im ready for a change, Im ready to walk down the street and beable to smile at all and know i am going to get a return smile, and not a grim stare.

The reason China won't be the first, is lack of technology. It wasn't until the traitor. Clinton gave China access to the gps system that they could even get anything into space. China has great plans, but will not be at the level of US technology for 50 or so years. When you consider we are 50-100 years away from making a self-sustaining colony on another planet or moon for that matter.
Now if Russia and China teamed up, their might be a chance. Russia's tech is only 5-10 years behind that of the US. With Russian scientists and Chinese manpower and resources and money-this could develop into something interesting.
The one issue we have not dealt with is the ability of a fully united, determined EU to do so. Frankly the US would much rather see the EU in space than China or China/Russia team.
I wonder how long the delay would be if an American hero/President, once again denied China access to our gps, and China had to develop their own, hmmmm.

Your forgeting one little thing, there is reason to beileve that the moon for sure, and mars maybe.... are already spoken for Nasa has kept quiet about anomolous structures and buildings on the dark side of the moon. Why have they not been back since the early 70's. There has been much evidence put forward that the US was warned off the moon. If we did have a base there at any time in the future we would be renting not owning.
