CNN) -- A drop in so-called "chatter" among suspected terrorists is troubling some counterterrorism officials, who noticed a reduction in intercepted communications before the terror attacks of September 11, 2001, government sources said.
Pakistan authorities arrested a key al Qaeda suspect, Muhammed Naeem Noor Khan, in mid-July. Officials said chatter continued after that arrest, but has fallen off in recent days.
Yet more scaremongering I see. Its only purpose is to keep the US population fearful so the Bush administration can retrict more personal freedoms and continue it's war for oil in the middle-east under the guise of fighting terror.
Of course there will be another terrorist attack sometime. But, like 9/11, it will be carried out by the US on the US.

I find it funny that a vast majority of people who believe this is all scare tactics don't live in the US. Maybe if something happened on your own soil and people you knew were hurt, killed or in jeopardy you would have a different take on this situation.
