Ode to the Gecko.

Oh Day Gecko, Look at your brilliant green colors.
You are lighting fast, and king of the wall.
You are very territorial, very aggressive, kinda like men.
You are rough and rugged, badass to the core.

Night Gecko, you are so different from your day cousin.
You are calm, collected, dark in color.
My favorite thing about you, night gecko, is your chirp chirp chirp chirp chirp chirp.
It is said that when you sing your chirpy tune, you are agreeing with whomever hears it.
Thank you my friend. You are like feminine energy to me. Insightful and such.

Geckos, thank you for teaching me about myself, and the duality of the universe. You are awesome.

yes I have 6 crested geckos and they are adorable. They are silent though. Maybe they don't have much to say.

Gecko's are funny little critters!

Once, I had a tiny gecko in my bathtub - he'd fallen in or something, and as soon as I peered in to have a look at him, the little bugger starting making this weird crying screeching noise!
It sounded like a child wailing!
