Good evening, all.

This afternoon, my adult son shared this photo with me, and asked me to share it with you folks. He did not take this photo, but feels the source is reliable.

It is reported to have been taken yesterday, 06/09/11 in The Woodlands, Tx. We are just south of there. I do not know what time of day, but I am trying to find out more information.

I'm pretty quiet on ATS, but I've been a daily reader for a long time. I figure this is the place to find out what exactly that is in the picture.

Thanks,

cindy and mikey

That picture is excellent.

It honestly looks fake. If you look closely around the edges, it's blurry and the ship? looks like it was just put there with no attempt to blend it with the rest. I may be wrong, it's just my 2 cents.

thats an m$ paint level fake, just a horrible pasted in generic ufo without any any attention payed to the lighting(or anything whatsoever).

I would be interested to know about the other info you are working on to go along with the picture. Was this moving? Is this the only picture? Any sounds that the photog heard at the time? If real, it is a great picture for sure. If being the key word there though.

I agree, but without a chain of custody, even an authentic looking photo is no good. It's just pixels on a screen.

If you are so sure its fake or photoshop prove it don't just come on here and say it i think it may be one of the best pictures i have seen im not coming right out and saying its fake but im not saying its real either but to jump conclusions right from the beginning isnt the way to find out. Until further input and analysis on the picture i reserve my judgement but it is a nice picture non the less. I hope its real tho lol.

so where is the original photo? not this photoshop enhanced version?

Wow, that was quick!

I do understand that the photo was rough. It was a cell phone. And maybe it is a photo chop. Thats exactly why my son and i brought it here. to find out.

I do know that the person who took the photo insists she saw a UFO, and this picture didn't do it justice. She wasn't challenging in any way, but shared the photo with several people who asked. i am hoping she will answer the questions you, and i have, Chachi.

I promise to share what i find out.

well the image is from a third hand source who swears 'its real', the image, the main image is nice, but the 'ufo' has nothing, its flat , how does the light of the sun not affect it ? or maybe that ufo is just a 2d scribble on some paint s/w. i dont know, looks like a bad fake to me, if you cant see that, i feel bad for you.
i'll guess you have never used anything more advanced than microsoftpaint.

If you copy the picture to your hard drive and push the gamma up, you'll see the Photoshop "feather" effect was used when pasting the UFO into the original. You can't miss it; it's quite emphatic.

I love to see genuine UFO pictures. I've examined many photos and learned what sorts of things to look for. I don't doubt that the person carrying the "original" around believes that it's genuine. But alas....

THE WOODLANDS!!!!

Looks like a next generation stealth bomber if it's not a butterfly or photoshoped.

There is also the fact that NASA is just on the other side of Houston from the Woodlands- it could be something from there. Not to mention that Fort Polk and Fort Hood both do exercises around Houston and all the surrounding areas. I'm pretty sure more military vehicles are shipped out of the Port of Houston than any other port in the state. Most are shipped to the port by train but sometimes they fly some of the helicopters and smaller planes in. Plenty of times I've been driving to Bush Intercontinental Airport and seen all kinds of aircraft going in and out of there- not just commercial planes. It could be any number of things.

As an afterthought, if it is some kind of new fighter jet it is not out of the realm of possibility that it could be from the big Airforce base around San Antonio running some kind of exercise. Not as far flying as driving!
