Very nice Unity_99. I have seen this woman before but never remembered her name, I'm glad you added these. All of them were great but the first vid was wonderful.

Awesome Soprano voice this woman has and she's (51) years young, I can't believe that. Just a classically beautiful woman. I love Opera but usually male operatic singers- Andrea Bocelli, Mario Lanza, Puchinni, etc. Those high octaves do something for my spirit.

This was the first time I had ever heard of this artist after I heard Jackie Evancho (10 year old operatic singer) they both sing together in this video. Just gorgeous! Jackie Evancho will blow your mind. My heart leapt when I heard this little girl.

Jackie Evancho & Sarah Brightman "Time to Say Goodbye" on America's Got Talent FINALE

She is phenomenal, and I Love Her. My friend, 1/2 native, 1/2 scottish, is the same height, build, singer/musician, who also had that beauty, and grace, she would steal shows in her 50's, no one wanted her to leave. For some reason, its almost like they're cousins in a way to me, though she was rhythm blues. Sarah's voice is angelic.

I find, the words from Running to Save the World, and Free, which I really liked, a freedom song, along with Deliver Me, to stay for hours, can't get the songs to leave.

Sarah Brightman - Fleurs Du Mal (Live In Vienna 2008)

Another opera trained singer I really like, and different music, altogether: Tarja The new song is odd. But I included it because she has songs that are slightly darker yet aware.

Tarja - "The Seer (featuring Doro Pesch)"

Tarja - My Little Phoenix (New Video)

Nightwish - Sleeping Sun

Doro Pesch feat. Tarja Turunen - Walking with the angels

I love Tarja's voice! However, I admit that I prefer when she was with Nightwish....

Much more to be explored there and here. I'm enjoying the ride. Now I'll take you on a journey through my corner of America. I'll start with a band that I have always liked from Australia. Your first vid sounded like silverchair. I have not heard any of those either. This is so much fun exploring the world through music.

Silverchair "Pure Massacre"

Let's now go to my state Mississippi. Ocean Springs, MS boys 3 Doors Down "Citizen Soldier"

Next state over from me Louisiana. LeRoux "New Orleans Ladies" This video shows lots of sites.

If it doesn't work go here: www.youtube.com...

Now let's journey down into the Bayou (Swamp land) with Doug Kershaw fiddle cajun Zydeco music. Cajun/french/Creole music. Louisiana.

Song I remember from long ago by Gerry Raferty "Baker Street" awesome Saxaphone. I don't know where he's from.

Johnny Cash "Hurt" originally by Nine Inch Nails. But this version is better to me. Sad.

go here: www.youtube.com...

Enjoy B9.... I have enjoyed putting this together for you.

I've never heard of Tarja, Nightwish - Sleeping Sun was really beautiful. Reminds me of Romantic Vampire movies (I like them) . They were all good and new to me. Expanding my musical knowledge

She makes me think of Evanessence and Celtic woman with a dash of darkness. Would be great to see Sarah Brightman live in concert.

Hi, spent over an hour here tuning in to the latest additions---good stuff and linked more than a few to my bookmarks. Liked how you started out all hard with Silverchair, then took me by the countryside before mellowing it out with Baker Street (def a classic) and 'Hurt' which was my fav there, very poetic. Heard it for the first time so gotta get with the program as it looks to be quite well known. Appreciated. Okay, next round is lined up
Cheers and Blessings.

Hi Unity, thanks for sharing and introducing me to the frequencies of Sarah Brightman.'Free' was a standout for me also. One of those tracks that can take you to a different time and place. Much Love.

That last song I have never heard nor the first, middle ones I know the bands but Milk by Garbage was new to me. The last one by 1927 I really liked, very nice and Milk. Some of these I'm posting here are dark and deep thinking. Some more uplifting. Now you'll have to spend at least 2 hours. Hehe! I started Gaelic and ended gaelic. (Celtic) I have more to add to my favorites as well. Very nice. DD.

Let's take a little Celtic trip.

Live - I Am Overcome.

A Perfect Circle : Peace Love and Understanding.

Depeche Mode: The Love Thieves

Linda Perry Grace Slick : Knock Me Out

Bush: In A Lonely Place

Little River Band: Cool Change

Flogging Molly : If I Ever Leave This World Alive

Have fun!
Daree.

sia's breath me is a beautiful song. i remember it was used in the last 6 minutes of the tv series '6 feet under' to amazing effect and pretty much everyone i know that saw it cried their eyes out - a most amazing use of visual and audio put together.

if you never saw the series you won't get how powerful this ending was and if you are intending to watch the series, don't watch this video as it's a spoiler..
