How are helicopters silenced?

Your comment about having to look up facetious cracked me up...

we used to have a running gag where whenever ANYBODY used the word we would go

"f-a-c-e-t-i-o-u-s" (we'd spell it out and roll our eyes)...

and when I used in my post I caught myself saying that!
