Wait, people are actually paying to see a documentary about the uneventful life of an Alaska governor ......Sounds like it'll be sooooooo exciting

I neither love nor loathe Palin, but what's she got to make a movie about really? There's a strange cult of personality around that woman, all the more dangerous if she actually runs for president. In the off chance that she does become Commander in chief it will be a serious dent to the credibility of the USA.

I thought she already had her own TV show?

Eurisko2012, I feel that your Palin fantasies and delusions go way beyond the political level.

However, you're right on two counts:

1. A lot of the more self-righteous political ideologues - many of these people claim to be from the left of the political spectrum - are anti-Palin because of anger, hate and misogyny tendencies.

A cursory search of ATS - with telling keywords+Palin - will show an inordinate amount of nasty, emotive and sexist rhetoric aimed against Mrs. Palin. Many of these posters will not be aware of the sub-conscious reason which belies their anger/hate which they feel towards this female politician.


2. ''Females are jealous''. This is absolutely true. It's hilarious to see the female ATS contributors who are absolutely furious about the fact that an attractive middle-aged woman has the potential to hold a powerful, authority position.

The ''Queen bee syndrome'' comes to the fore, and this is the sad fact which means that no female politician will ever hold a position of power, unless she behaves like an honorary man.


Personally speaking, I think that Sarah Palin is a complete clown, but, then again, George W. Bush is on the borderline case of mental retardation, and Barack Obama is also a buffoon ( despite how many political commentators insist on telling us that he's intelligent and well-educated ).

Intelligent and well-educated people don't mindlessly drone on during the British national anthem.

I find it interesting that we'll have to pay to see Palin's first presidential campaign ad... well, I won't be, but I think it's a new an unique way of running for president. Will Paul Revere be making an cameo appearance in the movie?

Seriously, I think it's cute that she's running without saying she's running. She's afraid to commit (because she's not sure how popular she'll be) so she's doing it on the sly, claiming she has nothing to do with the movie and her bus is just her History bus and this tour she's doing is just because she loves America so much! It's not in any way a campaign bus or a campaign tour... It's kind of endearing, really.
