enregy healing/ reiki/ distance healing experiment.

Greetings to all here on ATS. I would like to purpose a little experiment. In efforts to inform the average person of their true potential, i offer myself up to show people that they have the ability to read and send energy across infinite distances of time and space.

I've been doing energy work for many years now. Something that was never taught to me by any energy worker, is that we all have the ability to read peoples energy via distance sessions. Reiki healers often talk about the ability to send their energy to anyone over any distance. Never have i read or learned that we can substitute/impose/read someones energy over my own.

One day via a long session of what i call driving reiki, from Denver to Albuquerque i discovered my ability to scan my body while thinking of my friends conditions/energy and was able to pick up on a few cyst in her left breast, something she never revealed to me before. From then on i believe i/you/me have this ability to scan others via any distance. I think of it as Remote Viewing meets Energy work.

Back in 2009 i proposed an experiment here on ATS via post. I received no replies then.

greetings ATS,

I am an energy healer. I have never charged for my services, but have been given donations. we all have this ability to connect with chi, ki, or universal lifeforce energy.

I want to keep this short, and not about me. I am proposing that we attempt an experiment.

I am able to distance heal, as well as heal in person. I will offer my services for free to one person. I have to keep it to one person, only because i need to focus on their energy alone.

Though i have done distance healings before, i have never done any large scale public display/experiment like this before. I have faith in the universe. It will provide.

There has to be a few guidelines.

1)I need this person's permission.

They have to ask me to heal them. I have to clarify that i do no healing. I am not the source, only a conduit. I allow the recipient to connect with the universal lifeforce energy. they have to want it, and allow the energy to do what it needs to do. I benefit just like them.

2)this is not a joke. please take it and me seriously until you have reason to doubt me. I am human and am potentially putting myself out for ridicule.

3)for those of you that already know of this ability to heal ourselves and others, I ask that you pray for my protection, envelope me with healing white light, ask that your healing angels and guides and my healing angels and guides are able to accomplish our goal in healing this person.

4)I propose that i pick the person to be healed. please i do not want any symptoms discussed, by anyone that is interested. this is due to experimental purposes only. I would like to do a distance scan on that person first, then tell them if i can sense where their problem is. i am thinking this will help authenticate the experiment. I am thinking about picking from a short list.

5)sometimes healing can be a long process. It can range from minutes to days or even years. I propose for experiment sake we keep it to something small that is measurable. I am open to discussion. on how to evaluate the healing process.

for example, find me someone that has a doctors appointment in a few days or a week. see if i can't help them have improved symptoms before their visit. see if i can help relieve someone pain, or calm their mood or spirit.

6)I am willing to discuss a little bit about how to do this experiment in an accurate scientific way, but ultimately it is up to me. I need to feel in the right energy mode or moment and i need to be in a safe, grounded, stress free environment. so timing is up to me.

About a week or so ago, PURPLEMAN offered his healing energy to all that responded to him during the duration of the post. In this thread i posted the same experiment again, and got a few replies. the thread was closed before we could find the results of my first experiment.Here is what i posted after i received permission from Astrithr.

here we go. i would like to explain a little about what i did tonight. tonight at approximately 6:30pm mst i sat and meditated until 7:21pm mst. while in meditation i called on any guides that will allow us to connect for your greater good and higher self. i did some reiki symbols and then scanned my chakras, at the same time, imposing yours over mine(or me reading yours).hard to explain. while in each chakra position. i took notice of all that i feel. at the same time was sending you energy so you can heal yourself.

When i first sent you energy,before the hour meditation i had some instant feelings. Though this was not during my reading hour, i like to put out all that comes to me. since they were not during my reading session i don't hold much weight in them.but will tell you anyway.
i thought parapalegic, and felt pain down my right thumb, and first thought of my hands being in pain.

i went to work and meditated a bit more repeating om mani padme hum over and over. finished work. then started my reading session. here's my results. I have a lot of hits sorry if it seems like a lot but this is what came to me.

while in crown chakra i felt a straightening of my spine, a lifting feeling or rising of my spirit, middle right side of my spine was a bit soar.

third eye-no feelings
throat chakra- tightness in breath moving into the lungs
heart chakra-tightness in chest lungs-left side of the neck(i keep writing rt side of neck, but felt it in my left side)something glandular.
solar plexus-no feeling
stomach-no feeling
root chakra- my right foot started cramping and uncramping.
knees-i felt a soar left bicept, tight chest again, headache behind and slightly above my right eye.
ankles-i felt upper respitory problems.

i will continue to send energy to you and your higher self. you can heal yourself. please tell me if i hit on anything. and thank you for letting me try.blessings to you.speedy recovery.

Like I said, the thread was closed before we could hear from Astrithr to see how we did. I was able to leave a comment for them, and they sent me an email with the results. Out of respect, and privacy i will only talk about my results in some general terms, unless they give me permission to reprint their email.

As far as my results go for my first public attempt. I hit on pain in hands and right foot. (I guess this includes pain down rt thumb). So the way that i see it I got 3 out of 10. 30% .Not too bad for the hundreds and thousands of potential medical problems that i could have sense. And to hit a specific like right foot?

I would like to say i did miss the big problem that this person wanted to see if i could guess. In my defense I never claimed i can get all of ones medical issues, but i think its amazing that i am able to get any.

After this thread was closed a few people messaged me but i was unable to respond do to my lack of 200 post. I have to go back and see who you were. I know Madhattress and shadowland8 were next. I would like to do you next if you are still able.

Please: In order to keep this thread alive, and not have it shut down like PURPLEMANS, even though it was active until it was closed. Please don't make one or two lines for requests to participate or for healing. If you want to see if this experiment is possible, it will take time and patience. I am an artist by trade and an energy worker by divine creation. My art pays the bills, my energy heals the soul. That being said i have to work now, but will check back to see if madhattress or Shadowland8 would like me to still try.

I guess what i am purposing in this experiment is if i can sense some of the things that people are suffering from. I am not Jesus, God or anything beyond human. I know i can pick up on some of your aliments, but i never claim to get all. Sometimes i may pick up on something that you are suffering from and you don't even know it. please keep that in mind too.

You do have my permission to actively reach out to me if you wish. I am in Las Cruces, NM, just south of Mesilla actually, and I have to say I was pretty impressed with Purpleman's ability.

I specifically asked him to lift something from my mind, something I suspected was from my childhood and something I feel I have somehow blocked.

It worked! I had a piercing headache immediately that evening and from the very next day my head exploded in every memory of my childhood I could handle. To think all that self-healing was really me masking my pain!

At any rate, it was a "lifting" experience and I am so happy that it has happened. I needed this, especially now since I do believe we are in the mode of "Acceleration of Spirit" from now until Oct 28. Actually just yesterday we passed the next 18-day cycle, so if there are going to be any developments over the next 18 days it is going to be folded twice in its intensity and activation!

So yes, you have my permission but I am afraid I am not afforded the benefit of a Doctor or a Hospital at this time in my life. I decided to give up money myself. I work, but I actively work in exchange for housing; so far it is fitting in nicely with where I feel I am going.

Please take a look and if you feel that I would be a good candidate I assure you I can send someone a list of symptoms and they can verify from an outside perspective whether or not you are getting the results you would like to. I can even email a Mod if that is the case because I am not ashamed of any part of this. There is nothing that I do not expose on a daily basis! (ask anyone on ATS!!!)

I am OK otherwise, and I feel that eventually our Sun is going to send us all a big blast of Healing Energy really soon! Did you happen to see the latest CME eruption on the Sun? Wow, I am out there today pulling weeds just so I don't miss getting the "dose"! Of course, right now it is lunch!

Can I offer up my husband as the test subject? I only say him instead of me since he has veteran health coverage and goes to a doctor more often than I do. You mentioned how you wanted a sort of measure of how things are going and since he goes to the VA every so often it could work out for your measure the effectiveness part of your experiment.

Thank you greensage. Thank you for your testimony, your honesty, and your clarity of self. i will include you to my list of potential people to scan. I will be sending you energy during the next few hours, as i do my meditation during work. Have no fear of any date but it doesn't hurt to be aware. I have been following the CMEs but personally if i was to worry i'd be more worried about the 3 melted reactors in Japan. the west coast of the US is getting pelted by the fallout. a lot of our fruits and veggies and nuts ect comes from cali. Cancel,cancel,cancel. Focus on only positive. right speech, right thought.

Hmm, I believe that I have a gift for telling when people are genuine. I don't think that I'm special I just think that I spent a lot of time blindly trusting people and as a result of the suffering I endured learnt how to read people. This extends to English text and foreign language speech. I don't think I have a psychic ability as such but I genuinely care about people and know when something is wrong with them or if they have good or bad intentions or understand if they need something, what they need. Empathy and intuition combined with a good ability to read body language is probably the most accurate way to describe it.

I know with out being able to prove it that we have ways of communicating that most people don't recognise. One example is turning to lock eyes with someone who is staring at you across a crowded room. Another is when you examine the source of your thoughts, I mean cognitively analyse where all your thoughts come from during a day, you began to realise that they are not always your own. When you do this while sharing space with someone that you care about and are therefore attuned too, and then verbalise these foreign thoughts, the other person will often say, “I was thinking the exact same thing.” There are other examples but the point I am trying to make here is that I can tell from your post that you are genuine about your belief that you can work with energy. You want to improve these skills by testing yourself or maybe on a deeper level validate to yourself that what you are experiencing is reality.

With that said I'd like to point out that if I were to pick ten common aliments and ask any random person if they were experiencing one or more of those ten common aliments, there would be a fairly high probability that the random person would have one or more of those aliments. However if I stacked the deck like you did and ask for people to volunteer for the experiment, thereby virtually guaranteeing people with aliments, the probability of the subject having one or more of the ten aliments would increase greatly.

Please understand I'm not having a go at you. I'm not saying you can not work with energy to help people heal. I'm just mentioning this because you used the word scientific a couple of times and I wanted to point out this flaw in your experiment. I'd also like to point out that you did not have a list of ten common aliments, that you felt ten from the entire plethora of possible health problems. Also the probability of pointing out a specific body part in which the aliment occurs, with out some sort of knowledge, is quiet low.

Anyway the last thing I'd like to say is according to recent theories in quantum physics, all mater is comprised of energy and the only reason that we perceive mater being solid is because we are here to perceive it. In other words consciousness creates reality as we perceive it. With this in mind I would love to offer my self up for your experiment. Just let me know how and when.

You have my permission to work on me. I'll PM you any info you need. I live in TN, in a town called Sparta. I also have migraines that leave lesions. No one knows what they are. If you could just point me in the right direction, I'd be glad.

I am also still recovering from pneumonia. I just can't shake it. I usually don't get so sick, let alone so sick for so long. Maybe some emotion is causing it? I have also had trauma in my past, some of the details, I'm not able to remember.

Someone hit me, as hard as they could, in the head with a huge sandstone when I was four. It was blamed on my little 2 year old brother at the time. I don't think it was him. My grandmother kept the rock. If he could lift that and swing at my head with enough force to make my ears and eyes bleed at two years old, they should have entered him in the Olympics or the record books. I'd like to remember who it was just to exonerate my poor brother after thirty five years of accusations.

As most of you know i started a free energy thread due to the high demand of people in need. therefore i'll dedicate an hour a night to all of those that requested.

With that being said, i have permission to do my second scanning. I have chosen shadowland8, because i have not heard back from madhattress yet.

Due to my busy schedule today i cannot do the scanning until i am able to find an extra hour in my day along with an hour in my night for the other group. I will not be free to do so until saturday.If i can do it fri at some point i will.

On saturday i will post my results of my scan.

To all others who have requested to be a part of this experiment(as long as you didn't divulge any symptoms) i will take you one by one. I can't wait, wish i could do it now. Thank you all for your patience and your trust.

Sorry i've been away for a bit, my dog was sick and it took a lot out of me. She is well now.
As for the experiment, it took me three attempts to do a scan of shadowland8, but i finally got it done. the first attempt i fell asleep, the 2nd time i was interrupted by my girl coming home early from work, then i got a killer headache on the left side of my head(felt like i was hit with a bat), today i was able to finish on my third attempt.

In order to give you an idea of what i'm doing, i sit in my meditation and do a few reiki symbols. As i am doing this i am sending the person energy, as well as scanning them. I say to myself something to the tune of "I am shadowland8's energy, and i am going to show you where i hurt". At the same time i am doing self reiki hand positions on each of my chakra's. 5-33pm mst - 5:58pm mst. tuesday 6/14/11

I decided to do just 7 positions to keep the potential possibilities to a minimum. I would sit in each position until my body had a reaction or i sensed something. If i don't feel something then i move on.

I just want to mention that these are not a diagnosis, i am not a doctor. Each individual must take responsibility for their own health, and seek professional medical attention when necessary.

Here is what came to me..
Crown chakra- my left pectoral muscle started burning- to be more specific the nipple and lower right hand side.
3rd eye- nothing
Throat chakra- Trembling in my lower legs below the knees more so on my rt calf.
Heart chakra- rt ankle was soar
solar plexus- left peck started burning again
Stomach chakra- I had a feeling of emptiness or being hollow. I saw myself as a vessel(jug or vase) and felt the emptiness of the inside.
root chakra- I kept wanting to turn my head to the right.I kept seeing myself turning my head to the right(not sure what this means) I felt a TMJ feeling in my left jaw going into my lower left ear canal.

Shadowland8, thank you for opening up to me and allowing me to try to connect. I will continue to send you energy on the daily list.I look forward to hearing from you.

I really could use some help. i see a doctor on 6/21 and a specialist on 7/5. I won't tell you what kind but have had two surgerys and am still having health problems. Please Help. If you need my age or location just ask.

Sensing people's needs is a wonderful gift, or not. Have you ever sensed someone's energy and realized you didn't want anything to do with it? Sometimes a gift is a curse, sometimes it's better to not "know." I've often wondered about this "gift." It comes with trepidation, with an edge, with doubt oftentimes. For those that fully embrace it, I tip my hat off to you, for you must be exceedingly strong.

The thing I found most interesting from that was the left jaw thing. I'm not sure why (but maybe now I do! ) but I noticed recently a bit of pain there, sometimes depending on the angle of my head and I had a feel there and it didn't feel the same as my right side of the jaw, I googled TMJ now and I'm going to research a bit more and find out what I can, from what I've quickly read it seems to match what I feel there. Which is really interesting!

Thank you for reading me. Though nothing else seemed to really get me (the burning, trembling) my ankles can actually quite often click when I move around and jump etc, but they don't get sore.

I found the emptiness interesting, I'm feeling rather lost atm. Also, I read a U2U from you just now from earlier in the month where you told me to contact you via email. I'll do so ASAP.
