New Full page background SITE Advertisement.....?

I just clicked on a thread topic and my eyes were assaulted by a full page background advertisement for Teen Wolf.[Please make it go away]

I was under the impression that for the more active members advertisement was removed.

Has this changed?

Not that I'm complaining just curious is all.

ETA: Well it's gone. It just popped up then disappeared in a flash?

I've noticed it only happens in the Cryptozoology forum. Maybe some sort of targeted advertisement since it is for the new Teen Wolf series? Wouldn't surprise me.

Nah, it's not like a typical banner ad, it's a full page background - like the ATS full page backgrounds used to promote something new or a marketing feature/paid campaign (eg. like the District 9 page, back in the day) I presumed the show probably paid to have it there for a period of time.

Don't yall know anything? It's the illuminati hacking your page trying to get you to watch it. I haven't seen the show yet, but I bet it has subliminal messages in it.

I just did a thread about the new one on the New Topics page. It's position makes it forced into my perspective and I can't even scan topics! If it remains, I will stop viewing that page, which greatly reduces my enjoyment here. The usual one at the top I can ignore, but this one is mid level and distractive so much I can't take it!
