Looks like Dr. Contactee is about to get into a bit of trouble.

Apparently he's been holding his UFO "seminars" in a national wildlife
refuge... Oops...

Steven M. Greer, Emery S. Smith and Deborah Foch have been charged in connection with alegedly operating a commercial venture on a national wildlife refuge.

Charges against Greer include operation of a commercial enterprise on a national wildlife refuge, trepassing on a national wildlife refuge, and violation of "daylight use only" regulation which prohibits all nighttime activities on Pea Island except fishing.

Newspaper story on Greer being charged.

I know a bunch of you will scream that he is being suppressed, blah, blah...

But he has been hawking this crap for many years so that argument isn't valid.

Why would we think he's being suppressed? He doesn't produce anything of value anymore, he only cares about money. And he has already done an outstanding job at making all his work completely meaningless. It's amazing how well he started off, only to come tumbling down right to the bottom. It's done nothing but damage the entire disclosure effort, and made us all look like charlatans. I will always have some respect for the man, but I couldn't care less if he gets locked up, might teach him a well needed lesson.

he won't get locked up.
He may get some stiff fines and penalties
and maybe even a restraining order from
Gov property, but no prison time.

What do you think happened to the guy? Was he just a con-man all along, has he gone nuts, was he bought out to discredit the DP? Were all his claims about briefing high level government officials throughout the world a lie? Really a strange story surrounding this dude.

Yeah, I know he wont get locked up. I was just saying, even if he got locked up, I would find it difficult to muster any sympathy for the man.

Isn't it strange how Greer wants disclosure but likes to summon his UFOs in secluded national parks

Surely his top secret government friends or maybe some of the aliens he knows can save him from these terrible charges that will stop his most important work.

was he bought out to discredit the DP?
He "created" the disclosure project. Forget who created it, just focus on the testimony presented.

EDIT: Oh, you mean "bought out", as in payed off. I got you now, and I agree.

I do not think he started off well.

He had some good witnesses, with good credentials.

But he also had a bunch of guys like Bob Dean and Clifford Stone
that have wild stories that are not supported by any evidence.

I've never liked the guy from minute one, guys like him drag any
possible scientific investigation of UFOs right down the drain.

He did get a few of the "crazy" ones in there, but who's to really say they are all crazy. It would be bias and unfair to pick and choose the testimony. As long as they have some sort of reasonable credentials, they have earnt the right to speak their mind. He did start off well though, I remember back in the day he was like the spokesman of Ufology, and people actually did respect him. Nowadays, 99% of people absolutely despise him, and for good reason.

Again I cant help but think there are people who are paid to sit in front of a computer and monitoring this ATS forum 24/7 so tehy be the first few to comment. Their trade mark is always their negative comments.

Notice how the first few comments on UFOs and Aliens are always negative, putdowns or ridicule?

ANYbody who walks away from a perfectly
normal money-making professional dental
practice and heads toward the field of UFOlogy,
has GOT to be a plant from somebody
high on the totem pole.

Funded by Rockefeller? What for? Why would he fund him? Not attacking you here, just being really curious.
