well sorry man i was just excited cuz bungie said they weren't ever going to make anything past 4 so there! and they didnt either this is someone else!

heh sorry i just get so tired of halo hype. the only reason bungie isn't doing this one is because they sold the rights to break off and become an independant studio. but yeah, it seems every E3 they announce some new halo. i just think the game is waaaaaay over-rated compared to other games in the genre of FPS.

hopefully it turns out ok...number 3 was disappointing for me and i've stopped playing since...stuck on call of duty black ops right now and waiting for battlefield 3

You know what? I'm heaps excited to!

I love halo, I got it when I was 11 and now I get to keep growing along with the series.

I thought the trailer was awesome, a jet pack and some insanly awesome pistol make for a good, all be it, short sneak peek of Halo 4

Can't wait for the 10th year Halo: Combat evolved either!

I can't think of comment that can fully describe my detest for anything from the Halo franchise.

I only liked Halo 2 and Reach. I didn't like the others, as my GT shows. I do like the Reach engine and it's my favorite so far, can't wait for the Halo 1 remake with the Reach engine. As far as Halo 4 they need to fix the MP. They need a drop in/out system on both competitive and coop. And they have to quit these 4 vs 4 matches, need to get 12 or 16 players on to make it right. I also want to see some of that space combat from Reach as a MP mode.

I've never been an xbox fan really, but when Halo first came out, it was a pretty amazing game. I didn't play it until they ported it to mac, but even then it was a great game. Some of the best mutliplayer imo.

And their not, this game is made by 343 Industries and Microsoft. IDK who 343 is, may be what was left of Bungie, idk, but yea, no Bungie on this game. My predictions, this will be like Black Ops, good game, but without Infinity Ward behind the helm, nothing near where it could have been..

There will always be Halo's as long as dumbies continue to waste their money on milked franchises like this, it just won't have a number after "Halo".

For example:

Halo Wars
Halo ODST
Halo Reach...

You see where i'm going with this?

Halo is the worse, Not sure why people like it.

like i said, halo is the most over-rated franchise EVER. it's a mediocre FPS game with maybe 8 different weapons. the first half-life is STILL better than any halo game, especially multiplayer. i don't see how it gains such a following or 360 for that matter, a system that's constantly having high fail rates and having to pay for multiplayer.

and don't give me that psn bs because the same thing happened to microsoft the day i bought my 360 yet some how goes un-noticed to all the fanboys of the company that is going to ruin gaming forever.

That i dont see as true because ive played many other games other than 360 and first person shooter and halo still is the best for me and right after this is gears of war. and just to be specific there is way more than 8 types of weapns if you played it then you would know this is an exaggerated statement. just saying

Reach is so casual it hurts my IQ when I (rarely) play it.
I am kinda hyped about the CE remake though.
I just hope they cater to the hardcore gamer a bit with it and bring the franchise back to it's roots.

I'll probably end up playing regardless just as something to do when I'm done with whatever newest Dynasty Warriors, Legend of Zelda, Super Mario or WWE game is out at the time (I don't even like watching WWE's BS any more, much prefer TNA but they haven't announced a new game to rival the WWE franchise yet).

I got Duke Nukem Forever (Balls of Steel edition) in the post today and after having a quick blast, it reminded me how great games were back in the day when it was either about storyline or fun and not "hmm, lets cram in these great graphics and make everyone forget how boring, generic and repetitive this game is" like you've had the last decade.

There are twenty-four weapons not counting different grenade types and melee. Halo's just a dumbed down game for the console crowd anyways, not sure why people get so excited about it. The fact that Halo 3 sold more copies than Bioshock and Portal back in 2007 says a lot about gamers.

Its all those console noobs who got the console and game "gifted" to them by the "rent" I'm sure.

Hope they remake 2 for the 360 so I can get achievements for that too.
